Should keep me threading for quite a while...

I needed these to tap holes in the end of aluminum t-slot extrusions. So far I have tapped 30 holes all with the same tap and it shows no signs of wear or chip weld. These taps are fully ground! Not like cheap taps that are machined while soft and then hardened. Those types of taps can work ok, but taps cut better and are more precise if they are ground after hardening.

They worked well for the brass that I bought them for. Although, the threads were quite a bit loose, so I will have to use some sort of thread sealer or glue to prevent them from buzzing or rattling loose. I have only used one of them to thread about 8 holes in 1/4" brass, so I cannot comment on the consistency or longevity of the taps. But, they were inexpensive and came with 10 in the pack so I'm not too concerned. They mostly fit my needs...mostly.

These are seemingly high quality, and tap aluminum pretty well. These are great to keep around with a 3D printer and assortment of screws.

These are M3 taps that came in a pack of 10. The picture tells the story; compare the grind on the tips. The left tap is a reamer, particularly when used on thin material, whereas the right tap actually works. Five of the pack were reamers, so double the unit cost when you purchase these!

These have been great, I don't think I've broken one yet, but I have plenty extra if I do. Nice and sharp.

They are pretty strong, but as I am tapping titanium I have broken a couple. I will say that it takes a lot for these to break compared to some others I bought off amazon for the same purpose (I broke both of the other ones and much quicker). With these at least I have some backups.I should say that I also pre-drilled the holes a bit too small also compared to what is recommended and I still managed to tap some holes without the taps breaking. If that isn't proof they work well I don't know what is.

The taps work quite well but being very hard metal are quite brittle. Do not try to use these with a power drill or single sided wrench. Used with a proper tap & die wrench I was successful. I broke one and had to drill it out with carbon drill bits.

Worked well to cut threads in a brass gear on a clock.Includes 5 pairs of tapered taps and finishing taps. These are 2mm the full length so needs a tap wrench that will close to less than 2mm. I work gently to prevent breakage but taps seems to cut well and did not show any sign of stress. No issues when using these to extract a brass gear on a grandfather clock. These should stand up to multiple use, particularly considering there are 5 pairs!

These taps are reasonably priced and work great for the job. I have used them on two different metals so far and each time without issue. They appear to be good and sharp and cut easily. Being m3 they are fragile and would be easily broken if used without care.
