The end caps are beautiful, the mechanics are perfect. The screws used to insert to hold the rope inside the cap are soft so be careful you don't strip the phillips screw while turning it into the rope. I ended up using small pliers to spin the screw until it was as close to the cap as I could get it, then used a tiny screwdriver the rest of the way. I also jabbed a finger really good with the tiny screwdriver, so be careful apply pressure if you're holding it with one hand and screwing with the other.Picture attached of my project. 1/2" diameter rope was used with whipping knots at the end of the rope to facilitate placing ends into the caps.

I love these tassel caps! Using for ribbon tassels and it literally takes a couple minutes to insert ribbon and have both screws completely in. Sturdy and well made. I have already ordered more.
