1.SW-520D is a ball type tilting vibration sensing unidirectional trigger switch. The appearance is sealed with heat-shrinkable tube to protect against dust and moisture.
2.This switch is suitable for touching off the small current circuit not suitable for acting as the mains switching. Applied to the eletronic , small household appliance, sports equipmens and anti-theft devices.
3.Made of metal, the electrical characteristics are similar to the switch, but it is not as dangerous as the switch and has environmental problems. It has a single-passing characteristic when shaking, and it is more convenient and safe to assemble.
Working Characteristics:
When the product tilt to Conductive terminal more than 15℃, is open circuit OFF-state,when trigger end (gold-plated pin end ) below the horizontal gradient greater than 15℃ angle, is closed circuit ON-state.
In horizontal position, shaking easy to trigger, while the golden feet up, shaking is not easy to trigger.

This year when I went to turn on my electric heater, it would just run for a second,turn off, beep, and then have a single dot flashing in the display. Research showed that this was most likely a defective tilt switch. I verified there was no continuity between the legs of both switches when the heater was in the upright position. Both switches had gone defective while unit was not in use over the summer.Although these replacement switches are not identical, they worked perfectly. I'm no soldering expert, so I clipped the legs of the old switches off at the base, leaving them attached to the board. I then soldered the new legs onto the old ones without a problem. Took maybe one minute a piece. Unit back up and working perfectly! $8 vs $80 for a new heater. Good buy.

A switch, by definition, should achieve an open circuit somehow. At no position did these ever reach open, only varying levels of resistance. And someone, PLEASE, do a better job of translating product descriptions into English!
