This was a factory fit for a vintage, and quality, surge protection power strip I have. The old invandescent indicator that told you it was on at a glance was almost out, and this fit perfectly in the same location. It also is holding up to the mains voltage just fine(so far). The strip is a heavy use one that runs my workbench, all lights and equipment as well as another strip for tools as needed. So far, so good. The wires are extremely thin, use a fine stripper and coat the ends in solder to make a more solid connection with your work piece.Cant ask for more for the price, though I miss the old RadioShack days...

Used this in a PID enclosure for a DIY powdercoating oven.Pretty nice quality although a bit expensive for what they are. The wires are probably around 28ga… forget normal strippers. Use your teeth or quickly burn the ends with a lighter and pull the insulation off.

It took 5 minutes to drill the hole in my ceiling fan and connect the LED to the switch do I could see when the fan was actually off.

This LED indicator works fine, but the tiny (28 AWG?) leads are difficult to connect to other wires or points. I had to solder to get a good connection.

LED pulled out of the holder on both pieces taking them out of the package. I had to use silicone to secure them. They functioned properly once secured.

Glad I tested these before installation. These are supposed to have a resistor under shrinkwrap on one leg of the LED and a diode on the other leg (LEDs don't like being reverse-biased hard, which they would be at 110VAC). The first of the pair that I tested on a variac started to smoke and bulge at about 70VAC - turned out it was missing the diode. I ran the other one up to 120VAC (our typical line voltage) and it was fine.

I have a clear (yellowish) rock that we want to put on a base and illuminate from below, as an accent piece. Combined, the two lights we purchased are not bright enough to do this. The lights would work well for what they were originally designed for, but not for what we want to do. So, back to the ole' drawing board and begin another search for a suitable light source.

Bulb will not stay in holder, mounting nuts do not fit so no way to mount. Total waste of money
