- Linear motion bearings provide freedom of movement in a single direction.
- Often used in conjunction with cylindrical shaft or rail.
- The steel ball is in point contact with the shaft and rotates with very little frictional resistance, so as to obtain smooth movement with high precision.
Linear Ball Bearing Motion Slide Units
- Grease may be applied prior to use to improve smoothness.
- Maintain lubrication of optical shafts and guides during operation.
- The recommended load is 80% of the rated load, exceeding the rated load will affect fluidity.
- The table needs to be level during installation, otherwise it will interfere with installation calibration.
- Require regular cleaning and maintenance.

All four of the ones I got run rough on a decent 8mm rod I have, with some wiggle that causes them to bind. The rod measures 7.97 mm so maybe it's slightly small. But even with grease (SuperLube grease) and without applying any lateral or twisting pressure to cause binding, they still run rough. I'll be ditching these as I ordered another set from a different supplier.

Got these and the first thing i noticed was rust on one of them and bad forging marks on another - not a good sign. One of the ball bearing had come out and was loose in the bag. Tried all 4 of these on one of my roller bars, none of them moved worth a damn. tried oiling them, and still none of them moved worth a damn. They are actually WORSE than the bad bearings I ordered them to replace.total garbage.

I got these to replace my bearings in my creator pro, but once all regreased and place in the hot end carrier, they were super notchy and even worse than the og bearings, i in then end went back to printing some holders for some sleeve bearings 8mmx10mmx10mm which are far better and super smooth to use. So dont bother using these for 3d printer if you want smooth prints go with quality misumi bearings which isnt sold on amazon or sleeve bearings
