- Hardness: 70A

Circular Cross-Section
- They are circular, round in cross-section.
- Designed for use in a wide variety of sealing applications.
- Commonly provide a pressure and fluid seal between cylindrically shaped, overlapping mating surfaces and are commonly seen in engines, faucets, flanges, valves, and various cylinders.
Nitrile Butadiene Rubber O-rings
- Good mechanical properties and high wear resistance NBR. Good resistance to many petroleum oils, greases, hydraulic fluids, alcohol, mineral oil, and grease.
- Buna-nitrile is vulnerable to acetone, ethers, esters, ozone, sunlight, and weathering and should therefore not be used in ozone-generating electric motors, welding equipment, or in applications with exposure to UV light.

I used them for putting on the threads of my Stylus's Tips which helps keep them tight while still being Easy to change to a different size, without any tools.

My wi-fi connected rain gauge has four long screws holding it together. I opened it up the other day to replace the batteries and found water inside. Turns out, the old o-rings were severely worn and in one case missing. I went to the hardware store to find a replacement and was unsuccessful due to the specific size. I measured what I needed and found these on Amazon. I needed four but received 50 so I'll be good for many years! Now the water will stay out of the device.

Long pole switches paired with normal stabilizers can rock quite a bit. These help to prevent that and make them a bit quieter as well.
