I lost the original thumb nut that came with my item, and was in need of a replacement. After a lengthy look I was lucky and I found these and although they weren't my first choice, I purchased these mainly for the size and shape and they work just fine. I'm sure if I looked long enough, I may have found these in black, which is what I was looking for, but the color works for me, for now. They are your typical thumb nut. Functional and practical.

It didn’t work for me due to the lack of clearance in my specific use. No fault of the product, just didn’t realize how large a diameter the nut was.
