  • Linear motion bearings provide freedom of movement in a single direction.
  • Often used in conjunction with cylindrical shaft or rail.
  • The steel ball is in point contact with the shaft and rotates with very little frictional resistance, so as to obtain smooth movement with high precision.

Linear Ball Bearing Motion Slide Units

  1. Grease may be applied prior to use to improve smoothness.
  2. Maintain lubrication of optical shafts and guides during operation.
  3. The recommended load is 80% of the rated load, exceeding the rated load will affect fluidity.
  4. The table needs to be level during installation, otherwise it will interfere with installation calibration.
  5. Require regular cleaning and maintenance.

This is the second set of linear bearing that I have purchased for a project. The first set was not precision at all. The bearings jammed and bound no matter what I did for alignment. Even the mounting threads were not smooth. This is the second set and for a few dollars more the change is like night and day. The mounting threads went in are smoothly. The bearings were very smooth in motion and action. Great product.

Extreme poor quality. If your application requires a bearing this isn’t the answer. Gritty, poor tolerance, wildly over priced for what it is.

These are not good enough for my 3D printer. The castings are rough and ugly. The bearings aren't smooth.

Beware -- inspect the product carefully! I ordered a set of 4, and one of them had only 4 ball bearings installed? In other words one of the 4 items was basically just a plastic sleeve inside an aluminum block, not a ball-bearing slide block! Order extra sets, send the bogus ones back!

THREE OF THE 4 PIECE SET MATCHED...... ONE ODDBALL IN THE BUNCH..... DIFFERENT ALUMINUM HOUSING AND NOT THE SAME DIMENSIONS AS THE OTHER THREE..... SO THE RAILS ARE NOT PARALLEL.... WHERE CAN I GET A REPLACEMENT ??? UXCELL CAN YOU DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS ???
