T-Nut with thread
- Made of carbon steel, Nickel plated or Zinc plated Finished.
- Suitable for standard aluminum profile extrusion slot.
- Put the nuts into the slot in the profile slot, rotate it 90 degrees clockwise, and automatically position the lock during the installation process, usually used with the hexagon socket head bolt.
Application
Widely used for building industrial aluminum frame structures, 3D printers, CNC Routers, CNC laser cutters, Robotics Projects.

Used these to add a solar panel to myVW eurovan westfalia. It had a Yakima rack mounted with tracks on the roof. This dropped into the track and allowed me to mount a solar panel without drilling.

I think the zinc coating is pretty thin. They rust fast. If you're planning to use them outside, plan on painting them (though they're still going to rust).
