I have a zero radius turn lawn mover that does beautifully in lawns, but when mowing the ditch or "out back" which in not landscaped, the front wheels and therefore the mower is uncontrollable and unstable. By drilling a hole in the frame and placing this U-bolt over the wheel frame, the front wheels go straight and the mover is controllable. To mow the lawn, I simply lift the bolt off and the front wheels are free once again. (I do not use the nuts.)
