These are inspired by Alice playing cards, based on illustrations by Sir John Tenniel (1820 - 1914). The words ‘curiouser and curiouser’ adorn the teacup in an eye-catching, loopy font, while the Hatter’s famous quote ‘we’re all mad here’ decorates the lid. Each piece is beautifully finished with shimmering gold detail.

Fun prints but product itself is not the best quality. The shape is slightly asymmetric and rim is not smooth. Was expecting more from "fine china".

Ich habe dieses Set für mich selber bestellt, da ich ein grosser Fan von Geschichten wie Alice oder Peter Pan bin (hauptsächlich den Originalen, obwohl die Disney Versionen auch nicht schlecht sind)Die Kanne fasst ca 450 ml ... genug für 2 Tassen Tee.Der Preis ist für die Qualität durchaus adäquat.Das Gesicht eines Gastes wenn man ihm den Tee serviert und am Tisch eingießt ... unbezahlbar.Werde vermutlich noch drei bestellen.Da ich in einer der Rezensionen gelesen hatte, daß die Tasse beschädigt war... bei mir war alles eimwandfrei.Einen Hinweis möchte ich allerdings noch geben ...Wenn man losen Tee benutzt, sollte man ein Teesieb dazu legen, da keinerlei Filtration stattfindet.Alles in allem ein guter Kauf.

I bought this as a gift and it is so lovely, beautiful design and material, and was wrapped properly so it arrived in perfect condition. Unfortunately it didn't arrive on time but that is not the seller's fault at all but the royal mail strike which is causing major delays! Although seller was in contact and was helping to track the status of my parcel.
