Lesson learned: Read the entire listing prior to ordering!Advertised as ‘leather’ in title but upon further inspection, they’re actually imitation (PU) leather.There’s a comfort contour right at the bend of the palm INSIDE each glove.These contours keep the gloves snuggled into my palms, which helps to absorb energy.The comfort level is unmatched.The thick Velcro straps allow for ideal fit at the wrist and when on and in use, these don’t budge with even the hardest punches.Deducting a point because of the misleading ‘leather’ advertising. I grabbed these because I thought they were animal hide. Despite not being leather, these seem to be well-stitched and durable enough for weekly use by strong a teen and adult. Time will tell and if we notice any defects with continued use, I’ll update this review.

Fits most hands. Made to last. Perfect amount of padding to protect hands during sparing. Versatile to be used for kicking as well. All in all good pair of focus pads at a good price.

I have tried lots of mits over the years and wanted to give these a shot. I'm really happy with the mits. They are well-made and have ample padding. The curve of the pad is perfect and absorbs punches well. They are really comfortable to wear and cover your fingers which is nice. The wrist pad is excellent and you can adjust the fit using the velcro strap. I'm very pleased with these mits and would recommend trying them out.

My husband wore these boxing mitts so I could box and see how it feels and wow they’re great. It feels great to train and get my aggressions out. I’ve never done that before, but I’ve punched a punching bag, so, I wondered how it would feel and I’m very glad I did. My husband has more experience with it than I do and he guided me and after a few punches, I felt winded and more relaxed. We both feel the same way. It’s great exercise. They’re awesome and very effective.

I enjoy training Muay Thai can always use a good pair of focus medsThis is a decent pair of mitts at a good priceThey fit decent but a little looseIt has the curved ball on the inside to help with gripThese are different in that on the very inside you can slip your fingers into the glove, or if you're wearing MMA gloves you can slip them on a loose outer shellThis is a big plus and it's separates them from other types of glovesSave times in that you don't have to remove MMA gloves to switch to focus mitts
