Very very nice replacement part. Old one leaked like crazy! Put this new one in and zero leaks. Came with a small thing of Teflon tape and the adapter fitting and matching screws!

This is a great product. I like how the manufacturer included pipe thread, sealing putty and brand new screws. High quality metal with brass fittings and screen inside the fitting.

This inlet is great, it looks great and was super easy to install. If I had only known it was so easy to install I would have changed it years ago. It comes with everything you need and the price is great.

Excellent replacement for near 30 year-old original fresh water connect that was dripping. Solid metal construction with nice white finish. Although original was square with rounded corners and held in place with four screws, the Valterra was essentially same diameter/size but completely round with only three mounting holes/screws. It was a good fit. Original served its purpose but was all plastic. The Valterra is solid build with brass check valve. Very satisfied.

Installed in minutes and came with everything you need as advertised - we purchased a 15 year old pop up in great shop from a nice family, but the city water thingy..broke the 1st time we hooked it up. Got this delivered fast, in time to work on it for the weekend... Great stuff very happy

I installed this on my RV, and I had to re-do it three times before it wouldn't leak. I had to use more pipe thread tape than usual, and I also opted to use some gas-rated tape instead of what was supplied. The first two times I tried to use the supplied tape, and it leaked, it wasn't until I used the special yellow tape (someone else has a pic on here too) on the junction that it finally stopped leaking. I also had to crank it down all the way tightening it to where it almost felt like the plastic piece was going to break. Not very impressed by this, and I'm worried it will start leaking again.Now months later, it broke off on the outside part and I see that the brass metal where it attaches (the outside 3/4 hose inlet) is very thin and weak! The check valve is really the only thing that works as expected!I wish someone could make a better version of this! Valterra was supposed to be the best in my mind since they specialize in RVs, but I was disappointed.

These work until they don't and then you install a new one. They wear out more often when you travel a lot in your RV and are installing the water hose over and over. This is just like the original equipment and was an exact fit. It took longer to get the old one off than install the new one. It comes with everything you need, including the sealant.

Better than the original, which was 16 years old, the replacement was fast and easy to install. About 20 minutes to do. The new one appears better designed and built... so for sure 5 stars.

Worked as a direct replacement on my Jayco travel trailer. This piece is metal and seems of higher grade than oem. I did have to triple wrap the plastic male to male adapter in the provided Teflon tape to stop water from seeping through
