The Valterra hose is wound (manufactured) with the wire spiral opposite in direction of most other RV sewer hoses. Intentional, I am sure, as it allows them to sell the hose and ends together.Hose is decent (so far), and it allowed us to create a custom length hose for our travel trailer, as our storage tube was limited in length. Get the Valterra ends to match, and it goes together in a few minutes.Leaking is minimal to non-existent, but since you are not glue sealing the ends to the hose, a drip or two is always possible. Just rinse it when done. Works well for what we needed, a custom length hose.

This brown sewer hose has thicker plastic than the blue hose so will last longer. And 20 feet is long enough for almost all RV parking spots. There are many youtube videos showing how to use.

I bought these (2) because the distance from my camper to the septic line required something this long but I failed to buy the proper connector ends at the same time. As a result, I had to try to find the connector ends at my local big box store, and they only had one end-type available. I was desperate for a waste line so I ended up having to buy a new setup at the big box just so I could get the system working properly. Of course by then I had tried these and didn't feel right returning them. Maybe one day I'll find a use for them.

I bought this a little over a year ago. It worked fine up until a few minutes ago. It broke apart in one place. I cut that part off and went to reattach it and it's breaking everywhere. The plastic surrounding the wire has become brittle like glass. Would not recommend.

Loved that the had on both ends a plastic piece that makes it easy to put on the adapter ends. Made life so much easier. Price was good and will see how it holds up to weather here

We are Year around living in Travel trailer , so sewer hoses need to last !!! These last better than I expected! We do need more now , but hey I’m happy they didn’t start leaking for a long time! Connecting the parts were easy for me as I am a woman , Fits well, works well through the hose and No clogging ! THIS WAS BIG FOR ME ! There is 5 of us so we dump regularly and It it clogs there will be logs 🤪 Every well , my husband works at times out of town so it’s just me and I have a weak stomach!! I can affirm these are great Hoses

I actually bought this hose to replace the hose on our portable Grey tank we use when camping at a site without sewer.The old carts hose was full of holes, so this will solve leaky problem. Seem to be thick walled and by using a heat gun I was able to get all the connection back on without a problem. Time will tell to see how long this hose lasts.

Questionable whether it will stretch to 10 feet, even 8 feet is really pushing it. Comes in a 22 inch long box, should have got the 15 or 20 foot version.
