I hit a tire tread on the highway and it knocked the handle off my grey water dump valve. This 1-1/2 inch valve was an easy bolt-on replacement for my 1983 Hi-Lo Funchaser camper. You do need to be a little patient to make sure the seals don't dislodge while putting it together. Overall, great value for ease of installation. It operates as expected. No leaks.

Original 2010 camper 1 1/2" Gray tank Valve seal was leaking in 2024. Purchased this all new updated valve including with gaskets and hardware. I cleaned everything thoroughly and lightly lubed the gaskets. Advise: place gaskets on PVC pipe first, then carefully install the CLOSED valve (handle pushed completely in) with the PVC and seals. Be cautious to seat properly in gasket, insert one bolt at a time allowing space for adjustment but keeping aware of the seals. Tighten bolts criss cross and evenly until snug then tighten. Check for proper operation of valve handle. Test newly replaced valve with clean water. Great NO LEAKS and operates as it should. Nice updated gate valve for this 2010 Dutchman Kodiak. The original was all black with no white lettering. This looks great as well as works as it should. No leaks! Happy Camper. Time took to replace just the valve about hour and a half. I installed it once with gaskets in the valve and the gate open, but the seal on one side was jammed and the gate wouldn't close. So, I removed it, placed the gaskets on the PVC and reinstalled the gate valve carefully. Good seal. Good product. Purchased the 3" also. Definitely recommend

I had my 22 year old original valve start to leak. Replacement was easy and took 10 minutes. It was a great value for the money and time spent to fix the old valve.

This was an exact match for my existing 2004 valve. Installed in just a few minutes. Only giving it 4 stars because holding the o-rings in place while installing was a little tricky but that appears to just be how they’re made.

Unit was a direct replacement for the Valterra already in place. Original and associated plumbing needed to be removed to install a bolt-on accessory to our travel trailer. In re-installing the original, I inadvertently had one of the seals slightly misaligned and it became pinched, and dripping, when bolted in. The replacement fit exactly. Delivery and installation ease was particularly appreciated given our short turn-around time between camping excursions.

the plastic handle is actually dark grey color instead of black, doesnt matter to me as long as the handle is (more) durable since that's a bit of a weak point of this device. It works very smoothly so far after about 50 times of dumping somewhat sediment free grey water (old one lasts about 2k+ times of dumping with occasional maintenance) so let's see how long this one will last.
