I just bought this because our previous sugar bowl which was handmade in Italy got knocked off the counter and broken. This one actually does a very nice job of complementing the colors of our backsplash which my wife really loves. Money well spent!

I read all the reviews before I purchased it so I was aware of the problems with the lids not fitting. I had purchased the coffee cup set and loved them, so I thought that I would try the sugar bowl. The color was beautiful and so was the finished glaze . The lid fit....but the top handle on the lid is so small that it's difficult to grip. Be very careful or it will slip out of your grasp and break. That's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

My husband uses this now to store the delicious garlic butter for our toast--so handy to have some already softened, stored from the fridge, at least 3 days. 😊

I was so excited to give this to my friend, and when she opened it for Christmas we were so disappointed because the lid did NOT fit on the bowel it kept falling in and the spoon is too big!! The dish is very pretty and well painted but the lid falls in. She was going to use it as a little salsa dish for her table but the lid fall in and does not fit righ. Was so disappointed 😢

This small bowl is what I wanted. It's looks great and the red is a vibrant color.My grandchildren never know what will be in the sugar bowl.
