This gate is heavy and very sturdy. We got it to put in front of our propane fireplace to keep my grandson safe and it works and looks great. It stands without the support feet. With the feet attached it does not topple over and stands more sturdy. I highly recommend this!

Very aesthetically pleasing, covers the area I needed very well, only drawback is the unstability. I have it attached to a bar in the kitchen area on one side and I use both of the feet on the other side. Neither one of my pups is aggressive sorry to stay in place and keeps them from getting into the living room during the day while I'm working.

It is nice how easy it forms custom shapes and separates across from the door (back) of the gate to close off an even larger area. Also the door is much better made than other reviews lead you to believe. The best thing about this Cate is how much more attractive it is in your home than a traditional crate.It would be nice to have two extra sets of hinges for an option to fasten to each side of a wall. Or even better, come with two more feet. Also, the feet have felt on the bottom, which acts strictly as support to keep it from tipping. If there was some type of rubber on the bottom to keep it from sliding, this gate would be perfect.

We are a family of 5 w/ 2 goldens that bark and may jump when someone enters front door. We got this and it definitely helps but didn't last more than a couple months. The consistent in and out made the door break near the hinges in multiple spots, we've rigged it for now, but disappointed it didn't last longer for the price.

If your looking for something sturdy or made well, it’s not this one. I chose this gate because it didn’t require assembly and it wasn’t too expensive. (I didn’t know if I’d like a gate at my front door) The top latch broke day one— I have no idea why you’d ever use 2 latches if you planned on walking in and out of the gate regularly—I didn’t install the bottom one so I was able to replace to one that broke with the one given for the bottom. It’s very flimsy and was chipped up offer one day of use. IF you do order this, you need to order more of the bracing feet/brackets. No way it will stay up if you only have the 2 included.

This gate is attractive and works perfect for my use. I use it in my garage to keep my dogs from getting into the street when my garage door is open. They follow me everywhere, so this gate allows me to let them in the garage while I am working. It is very attractive and I love that the gate that opens in the middle so I don't have to crawl over it if I decide to go out of it while I have it in place. Also my dogs are small under 7 lbs so I do not need to anchor the ends of the gates by drilling any holes. It is freestanding and keeps my dogs inside perfectly. Easy to take down and put up when needed.

This gate is the BEST! it’s sturdy and just heavy enough where my dog can’t or won’t move it around or knock it over. My dog is about 43 lbs and strong! I can place it in any configuration I want to fit the space and allows so much space for my dog to stretch out and sleep. It’s far better than any crate, since my dog has longer legs, she wouldn’t be able to fully stretch out in a crate. She has so much space with this pet gate. It has two latches to easily open and close the gate. So easy to assemble! The gate is really only used as a place for my dog to sleep.
