THE best purchase for my Vantrue N5. NO pairing is even required, it just automatically connects to the nearest dash cam. The double-sided foam tape also makes for nearly endless mounting options. There are only two features of this remote, but they are all you will need: 1) mark file as important so it isn't deleted (triangular icon with exclamation point), and 2) turn the device microphone on or off.This makes accessing those crucial camera functions so much easier while driving, and keeps your eyes on the road! Getting on for my other vehicles next month, happy customer.

This dashcam is working as advertised. It was priced competitively on Amazon. Since my installation was on a new vehicle and not something I could do myself, I chose to have it done professionally. This is a quality product and it provides the security of an impartial witness to anything that might happen in an emergency.

Had my Vantrue 3 channel Nexus 4 pro professionally (hardwired) installed. Bought this device to go with it. I like options I may not hit this remote button so much as I use voice commands. But it's good to have options and it works.

It should have been included with the camera kit. A star off for the nickle and dime to the customer.Raise the price of the kit to offset enclosing it. Anyone who has the camera needs this for taking quick pic's of interest. By the way, great camera and app!

I wanted this remote to use with my Vantrue NP4 dash cam. I often have trouble making voice commands to snap a picture, but this makes it very easy. Just the touch of a button!I mounted it with the double sided tape on a good spot for me to reach. It blends right in and my wife never even noticed it. lol! It paired immediately with the camera, very easy.I like and recommend, very reasonable.

Works great and is very responsive. Immediately so. Make sure you're deleting data from the SD card if you contually press the record feature so that the card doesn't get full. Otherwise you may get a SD card error on the screen.

Works great with the vantrue n4 pro. I had a bit of trouble getting it paired initially, but after rebooting the camera it picked it up fine.Very convenient not needing to reach up for the camera to save clips.

I Have a Vantrue N4 Pro Camera and the remote did not work at all with it. even checked thru the menus to see if there was something to click to pair the device but there wasn't. apparently its supposed to work right out of the box once you pull the plastic tab that isolates the battery inside. returned to amazon.
