Cleared the P0496 code in a 2017 Buick Encore. Everything fit and functioned as it should. Check YouTube for a tutorial, but be patient with getting the initial clamp off the canister... I have very little patience and it only took me 20 mins. 3 mins after getting the first clamp off. Well worth the money spent vs. paying $400+ at the shop.

Nothing bout this product is good. Its made cheap much like anything else from China. Just so others are aware there is a small bracket where the main housing is that is suppose to latch on to bracket. The latch on this doesnt exist. Its a really big struggle to get the both the solenoid to snap as well as the other 2 ports. Without the latch nothing fill fit correctly. I opted to go to Rockauto and spend the extra for the GM. Dont waste your money i returned mine. Also doesnt come with clip either so be xtra careful not to crack old one. Total junk

This was an exact fit replacement for my 2017 Chevy Trax and cleared the code. FYI only, I replaced the MAF sensor too at the same time. Runs like new now. On the Trax this purge valve is on the top rear of the engine and is a very easy replacement item. Look up a Utube video if you need help.
