So I wanted to come add a review for people like me who are considering this desk. I would buy this again, no question. One of the biggest things I liked, that I've never seen in assemble-it-yourself furniture, are the metal holes for the "locking screws". (Pic 1) Now, I used a screwdriver and a drill for all of this assembly (always start a screw by hand!) and it was a breeze. Only one time did I think there was a mistake in either the instructions or the parts (shelf guides), but it was on me -- I was looking at the wrong side. For putting in some of the screws the design and the extra long allen wrenches made tricky spots easier. (Pic 2). For scale, the size of the box, outside leaning against a bench. (Pic 3) It's not too heavy, but a slighter person could struggle; bring a friend. The parts are packed VERY well. Don't expect damage unless the outer box is thrashed from shipping. I was very impressed with the materials used including multi-material corner structures, plastic corners to keep pieces from shifting, etc. (Pics 4 and 5.) There is definitely a "box of parts" and you will be assembling. (Pic 6) Took me maybe and hour and a half, but I was going very slow and deliberate. Suggestion: When you order this, go ahead and order you some self-adhesive J-channel. I ordered a box of smaller ones, but because I have two power bricks (one for laptop, one for monitor) and a large USB hub, I got some much larger J-channel types and screwed one under the desk and the other fit right in the hole under the middle shelf pretty tightly. (Pic 7). Obviously I really wanted to hide all the cords. You'll really, really want the J-Channel for hiding the cords. I did a pretty decent job with small Velcro sticky things initially, but on the rare occasion I need to take my laptop somewhere, it was going to be a beating to get the power cord out. Now I can just spin the desk out and easily pull out the cords I need. In addition, hiding the main cord on the back of the leg is much cleaner with J-Channel than using the included adhesive cable organizer things. The desk comes with casters or adjustable feet, but I didn't use either. We are full-time RV'ers, so I want the maximum surface on the floor. (Everything *really* bounces in an RV, so lowered position and desk edge will be sitting on the chair arm when we are on our way. Fingers crossed.) Pics 8 and 9 are of the desk in the max and min positions. Pic 10 is a view of the room with the desk assembled and everything ready for work. (Note how it goes up high enough that my tall office chair will go under it. That's a bonus, in my opinion!)Lastly, and I didn't even realize this, the under-the-shelf LED light has multiple color options. It will cycle upon turning it on, but subsequent clicks of the button will set a single color. (Some sample, pics 11-18 for samples.) The three height position buttons are easy to set. You just set the height manually with the up/down buttons, then click S (for set) and 1, 2 or 3. Boom, done.I really like the "color" (wood pattern) of the desk. The material is smooth, but it's a nice dark "wood", which I like. (The white / light styles are NOT for me!) It feels very natural to work at. The drawers are decent. They're stiff cloth of some sort, so should be washable, with a flat bottom insert for stiffness. I'm keeping my tape measure, screwdriver and razor knife in one and my wallet, glasses, etc. in the other and they work fine. I do have to lift them a tad when I open them to slide over the blotter that I added, but that's on me.The only real downside I found to the desk was the lack of plugs, really. It has two and a "dangling" third, along with two USB ports (power only, obviously). I really could've used 4 or more. (2x monitors, 1x laptop, 1x powered USB hub.)If you get this desk, I hope you enjoy as much as I have this past week.

Highly recommend. It took a bit to put it together but it is very heavy and sturdy. It doesn’t wobble while writing or typing. Love the wood look. The sit stand is nice to have and the price is right!

Assembly took 4-5 hours by myself. An electric drill is highly recommended. There are ALOT of screws and different parts required to put this desk together. The desk is beautiful, however assembly was frustrating. Some written instructions on certain parts would’ve been helpful. If you get the orientation/direction wrong on one of the boards you have to take the whole thing apart.I also found issues with the order of instructions and manufacturing:The fabric drawers are a tight fit and don’t open and close slow smoothly.I couldn’t get the metal bar to fit (part X) after I put the metal legs of the desk together like the instructions said. I had to take the whole thing apart and insert the metal bar before attaching the legs and the bar that holds the legs together. One of my boards (Part K) was missing a hole to secure a 3rd #6 screw for part “W1”.There is a typo in page 28. It actually requires 6 of the #1 screws not 8, and two of the #3 screws to secure part “W”.Once the desk was assembled, I couldn’t get it to work and go up. I realized that you have to hold the down arrow for about 5 seconds to initialize the desk before it goes up.Hope this review helps someone struggling to put this together and get it to work!***updating my review because customer support reached out and I appreciate them hearing my feedback.

I was really happy with the instruction manual. This was a very daunting piece of furniture to put together; however, the instruction manual is thorough and the images are detailed enough to keep you right on track, piece by piece, step by step! The desk definitely took awhile to assemble (4-5 hours for me), but it wasn't difficult, and I was able to do it alone. Assembly may be quicker with two people.Once assembled, the desk itself is really great! There's a lot of small touches and attention to detail that really make a difference. I love the color changing LED strip - I had no idea it came with that and it made my day!The sit stand function works great. Outlets work great. I honestly have no complaints.A great looking desk! I'm thrilled with this purchase.

The pictures show a c clamp arm but it’s not Included. This is what happens when manufacturers put these amazing pictures and the fine print has different details. I got a C clamp but the way the desk is set up essentially makes it impossible to put a C clamp without some adjustments. The desk itself is nice but it doesn’t go very low so for anyone under 5’4 will have a ton of neck strain. Otherwise, the look and of it is nice and efficient for space.Assembly wise it was make complicated than I thought it’d be! Took a decent amount of time but ultimately worked out fineIts sturdy

This wooden, electric, height-adjustable standing desk is super sturdy, well-made, and versatile. It is also a great deal compared to others on the market. The assembly was VERY excessive, though. It would likely be easier and quicker to have two people assemble it, and the box is VERY heavy. It took me a couple of days to fully put it together. Since then, it hasn't given me any problems, and nothing has loosened. The electric height adjustability is super quick, quite quiet, and allows for very versatile use - however, I do wish it would go a couple of inches lower as the highest that most standard office chairs come up a bit short for me (I am 5'5").

I purchased this adjustable desk to replace my 17 year old, solid stationary desk. I was concerned about the length of time it took other reviewers to put the desk together (reviews stated 4-6 hours, some with help). It took me 2 hours from start to finish, by myself, but there were a couple of times I could have used an extra set of hands to hold things steady, but I used a chair. The desk is very nice looking, functional, and sturdy. The top is not a single piece, unfortunately, rather it's two long pieces that you put together and it's secured with a couple of screws and 2 plates.I had two annoyances: First, there are billion types of fasteners and they use multiple bits and bits of different sizes. Thankfully, I'd brought my whole toolbag down, or I would have been running back and forth for various sized hex and multiple Phillips bits. Second, the felt back that is meant to be affixed to the places where the drawers go are too short, so the holes don't line up. I couldn't find a place to request ones that fit this model. A previous reviewer has shared pictures of the same issue. All in all, it's a great price for a very nice looking and functional work desk, and it wasn't too difficult to put it together. I found the instructions to be typical for this type of project, and weren't hard to follow.

This desk is amazing!! Easy to assemble (at least that’s what my hubby said), great size, love the lighting, and LOVE the preset buttons! 5/5 would recommend to scone looking.I hesitated to buy this desk based on reviews that said it was terrible to put together. Don’t listen. Just be prepared, have a second set of hands and you are golden!

Would have given 5 stars, but assembly made me mad.Buy only if you like to build Lego. Over engineered. Assembly took 6 hrs. 35 steps instructions booklet, table is split into 26 parts, and have to join with 20 different type of hardwares. The platform is divided into two parts, joining that was big headache. Even instructions should be reviewed, you have to turn the table upside down multiple times while assembling.Overall it's a good table. I wanted a raised shelf for monitor. This met my requirements.

I really like this table as it’s easy to assemble (although it took me hours) but I guess that’s just me following instructions lol. but it’s sturdy, I can adjust it to the height i want to plus it gives me a lot of spaces where I can put my stuff
