It only took me about 15 minutes to put this rack together. The directions were straight forward and each of the wood pieces were well marked, so it would be really hard to make a mistake. The rack is sturdy and well-made. Currently, I have approximately 10 coats/sweaters hanging on it, but it will hold much more than that. I recently bought, then returned, a metal coat rack that was an Amazon best pick and it was awful! This was so simple to put together… only three screws with corresponding washers for the base. Everything else screwed into the unit. I highly recommend this coat rack. Stupid simple to assemble and well worth the price.

Works great until it gets knocked over. It is very light weight and has been knocked over at least four times. One time one of the top pegs broke off. Left lots of black marks on my walls when it tipped over and hit the wall. Needs a bit more weight to it so it can't be tipped over so easily.

I just got this so I will have to update after we have used it for a while. Over all, I like it. It was easy and quick to assemble. It looks nice but it is definitely not dark walnut, which is so disappointing. It's actually very orange. Since it's mostly going to be covered though I'm keeping it. I just had to rethink where the placement was going to be because it was originally going beside a dark wood credenza. I do think the price is good because it seems pretty solid.
