I only needed 1 acctuator for my passenger door on my 1974 Plymouth Valiant. Only 1 because I had gotten 1 on the driver door when I had my alarm installed. I opted for the 1 instead of 2 because the shop I got the alarm on was charging an arm and a leg for the work. Long story short I bought this 2 pack because it only cost me a few cents more than a single from Amazons Warehouse Deals. I paid a few dollars for the set and installed the 1 passanger door acctuator in about 1 hour. Just a few screws proper placement within the door making sure to clear the window and hand bending the arm to bend slightly around the locking mechanism and it was ready. But I had to spend an extra half hour because I didnt fine tune the up and down the first time, my mistake. A few turns of a screw a little adjustment and BAM the door locked and unlocked like a charm. All in all these acctuators work perfectly. Saved a ton on install doing it myself.

this was for a direct replacement for the door actuators on our notorhome, they were factory installed and had failed and these fit and installed exactly to the OEM.

Nice quality items, great value and speedy shipping!A note and a knock on these…The note is that the pics show an 8 or 10 slot mounting strip but they are in fact only 6 slot and might be a little short for some installs. The knock is that these are sold as a 2-pack set but only included 1 each blue and 1 each red crimp on barrel connectors in the package. You will need two of each to install both motors. Had to make a trip to Home Depot to finish the install.

Used these to add keyless entry to a 99 Chevy Silverado work truck. Not hard to install, but also would not be easy for someone with no experience working on vehicles. It seems to work just fine as long as you line them up correctly to actuate the door lock bar.
