So glad to find older technology still available. Work excellent. Needed this rewinder as I transferred VHS to DVD. Did not wish to use the camera rewind, so I purchased this. Worked great.

I had an large old collection of VHS tapes in my garage that I plan to convert to DVD and thought I'd buy the rewinder to rewind those tapes that were were unwound so I bought this product. Unfortunately, it would rewind the tape partially and then stop. In order to restart the rewind again, I would have to hold down my hand on the top of the machine to apply pressure to finish the rewind. It also made a lot of noise while rewinding.

one of the kiny rewinder is extremely noisy when winding up a tape - the other one work fine and is quiet in its operation.

I ordered this rewinder last month because my gray colored rewinder quit working earlier this year. It was from the same company as the used one I bought on Amazon, but unfortunately I only had this rewinder for a few weeks before it stopped working too so I had to throw it away. What a waste of money. I just assume buy a brand new rewinder from a different brand.
