My 5 year old and I absolutely loved building this! Yes I ended up doing most of the building but it was still fun to do. The directions could be better but I got it assembled and working. Took me about 45 minutes. My kiddo is thrilled!

This leprechaun trap is a fantastic way to frustration, disappointment and casting your money to the wind. Don’t even try!!! Don’t believe any positive reviews.

I got this leprechaun trap kit for my kids to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, but I quickly realized it’s more of a project than I expected. The kit comes with a ton of pieces and takes quite a bit of time to put together. If this is meant for kids, it’s definitely geared toward older ones who have patience for detailed assembly. That said, it’s a fun and festive idea, and the pieces are well-packaged and decent quality. Just be prepared to put in some effort!

Ever since I got my Vecacosic Leprechaun Trap Kit for my Kids, they have been on a super exciting adventure! They really love this kit because it is so fun to build. The kit is designed perfectly for St. Patrick’s Day.When I first opened the box, I was amazed at how cool everything looked. The pieces were neatly organized, and all the instructions were easy to understand. Even though they still in school, it is really simple to follow the steps and assemble the trap. My kids enjoyed every moment of putting it together, especially when they were figuring out how the automatic mechanism works. The trap is automatic, which means that when the leprechaun steps on the right spot, a hidden switch under the green grass triggers the cage to fall down. The design includes a rainbow bridge that moves slightly because of gravity, and there is a shiny gold coin placed along the way as bait. The quality of the materials is really good. The trap is made from high-quality wood that is strong and looks amazing. The colors are bright and will not fade.I also think that the Vecacosic Leprechaun Trap Kit is a perfect gift idea for St. Patrick’s Day. This kit is a great way to celebrate the holiday. It reminds you of the legends of leprechauns, magic, and luck, making every day feel a little bit special.

I was really excited about this product because my husband is half Irish and I thought it would make a fun conversation piece to set up for St. Patrick's Day. However, it has a TON of tiny pieces that need to be assembled and the instructions are not very useful. Even though I generally like putting together Ikea furniture, I gave up on the assembly of this leprechaun trap after about 20 minutes. It would be helpful if there was a diagram showing all the different pieces with their associated "number" so that the instructions were easier to follow. I eventually realized that they were labeled on the flat board you pop them out of, but at that point I already had the pieces all over the table and didn't know which ones came from where. In terms of positives, the pieces are all laser cut from three or four pieces of cardboard and are very well made. The painting and colors are nicely done. And of course the concept is fun! I love the idea of a kids-oriented St. Patrick's Day item, since that holiday traditionally is just about adults drinking a lot of beer. That being said, considering all the small pieces and the complexity of assembly required, I'm not sure a child could put this together. I imagine some poor parent being tasked with this after the kids get bored and go off to play with something else.
