I use this everyday. Easy to use, easy to clean, and compact. The blades are sharp so keep your fingers out of the way. I used the mandoline slicer for au gratin potatoes and it worked perfectly. Cut 4 lbs of potatoes in less than 5 minutes. Great purchase for the price.

I LOVE this vegetable chopper; I use it just about every day! I especially love it for cutting onions; the onions get cut so fast, they don't make my eyes burn. The blades are very sharp, and I have used it for onions, peppers, zucchini, cauliflower, broccoli, mushrooms, carrots, and more. I haven't had too many problems cleaning it; mushrooms have been the worst since they are soft and tend to get stuck. The slicer works great; I just made a huge cucumber salad in record short time since I could get the cucumbers cut nice and thin very quickly. I'm making a lot more stir-fry vegetables since it's so easy to slice/chop with this. I've had other choppers in the past that were flimsy, but this one is quite sturdy. The chopping grids are easy to change. I highly recommend this chopper!

I may add a photo in the near future to show dicing blade size comparison. I just packed this up today to return. I had bought two different vegetable choppers to compare. This one has a larger than usual area for dicing, which is why I made this purchase. (Do note that the OTHER blades are not oversized. It’s just the two dicing blades that are larger.). The larger than usual dicing blade is at least an inch or more larger in length & width than the other brand I also purchased to try. I think these two dicing blades are close to 4†x 3.50†when I measured. However, I found the Ruk dicing blade too difficult to press down and I work out at the gym! I used the smaller of the two dice sizes, too. I believe it is because even the smallest squares for the dicing blades are nowhere as small as in the comparison product. That one was a breeze at dicing carrots, onions and celery. Since I hurt my rib leaning over on an older one to add my body weight to it, it was a joy to be able to easily press down to prepare veg for a soup on the OTHER model. For this Ruk chopper, I did slice the carrot as thin as I could, as well as halving the celery stalks. Since this was the reason for buying it in the first place, rather than all the other blades and attachments, (including an enticing spiralizer), I am returning it. I am keeping the other one (different brand) that works easiest for me, though I do lose the additional square inches of space this one offers. I have made the other one work by just cutting the veg smaller. We all know there is no perfection in this world! Pros and cons to everything! Also, if you’re making a soup like I am that includes onions, carrots and celery, the smaller the pieces, the shorter the time they take to cook, and with a red lentil soup, you don’t need to cook longer than 20 minutes or so. When I use my hand emulsifier to make the soup creamy, the smaller pieces work blend better.Another point I should add for those who have limited storage space is that due to the larger bottom which catches all the food, it does require more space. For my purposes, it was actually overkill in size, as I’m not cooking for more than two people and don’t even need that much space for the vegetables to fall. I hope this helps someone. I was disappointed that the dicing blade didn’t have smaller squares, and that is just didn’t cut through as efficiently as the one I’m keeping.

I dont want to deal with a mandoline, or any sharp edges. These blades are SHARP, but most of the time you're safely away from it. Dont try to clear food with your fingers, it will cut you RIGHT NOW! It comes with a comb like tool to help clean out food. For heavens sake use it! That said, it really saves me time over doing it by hand. Celery didnt work, still had to cut by hand. Onions, tomatos, potatoes, peppers. You do need to quarter or cut to size of cutter. Bang on it hard! Theres non skid rubber on bottom of container and thats a good thing, as you really pound on this unit. Its durable, and I save prep time! Im in my mid 60's and if a recipe is too technical, beyond a basic food processor, im probably not cooking it. Prime rib aint that hard! Edit i use it a lot!

The bad ... this is a nighmare to clean. The food gets in the wedges and slots and makes a home. They give you a comb and Lord help me if it breaks. The jets on our sink sprayer are no match. The so-so, you can only chop small stuff. So a normal size onion still has to be quartered at least. Also, you need one set of cuts in the onion or you'll have slivers instead of dices. I basically do a third of the chopping as before so it is a little quicker and more uniform. The last so-so is that we have only so much real estate in the kitchen. Adding a new gadget, it should really work if I'm giving up precious space. Now the good, it works as shown. If you have small stuff, it'll chop, slice and dice without much effort. Also, it's cheap. If I wasted a little money on this, so be it. If it breaks, I won't cry (unless it breaks while chopping onions.)

Ich bin absolut begeistert von diesem 22-in-1 Gemüseschneider! Er ist wirklich ein Multitalent und hat mir die Küchenarbeit erheblich erleichtert. Mit den 11 verschiedenen Klingen kann ich fast alles schneiden, zerkleinern oder hobeln – von Zwiebeln und Kartoffeln bis hin zu Obst und Käse. Sogar Eier trennen oder Zitronensaft pressen funktioniert damit problemlos.Der große 1,5-Liter-Behälter ist super praktisch, um alles sauber aufzufangen. Nichts landet daneben, und die Küche bleibt ordentlich. Besonders clever finde ich den Klingen-Organizer, damit die vielen Aufsätze immer griffbereit sind. Die rutschfesten Füße sorgen für Stabilität, auch wenn ich größere Mengen Gemüse verarbeite.Die Klingen aus Edelstahl sind extrem scharf und machen das Schneiden wirklich mühelos. Selbst hartes Gemüse wie Karotten oder Rüben lässt sich problemlos zerkleinern. Die Reinigung ist dank der mitgelieferten Bürste und Kralle schnell erledigt – das spart nicht nur Zeit, sondern auch Nerven.Fazit:Der RüK 22-in-1 Gemüseschneider ist ein echter Gewinn für meine Küche. Er ist vielseitig, robust und super benutzerfreundlich. Egal ob für den Alltag oder die Vorbereitung größerer Mahlzeiten – ich möchte ihn nicht mehr missen. Ganz klare 5 Sterne!
