Ordered it in Pink for my two cats. Compared to the ancient Cat Mate whose age was about 8+ years (got it used from a friend), it is smaller, yet packs same amount of water, lighter, easier to clean, completely quiet, and overall more aesthetically pleasing. What I love most about its design is that it is covered and the tank could be just lifted and carried away (no splashing!) without unplugging the base. My cats like it, too. It is tall enough for them to drink without bending. One likes to drink from the spout, another prefers to lap from the shallow tray. I add ice cubes to the tank as my cats drink more when their water is cold. I generally change it twice a week. The whole fountain is smaller than I expected, but it works great, so far. That said, it would probably be too small for dogs. Wish this particular model were available in stainless steel.

This Cat Fountain is truly amazing and completely silent. It has an excellent flow rate and being able to see the fill level is wonderful as well. Cleaning the unit is easy as all parts come apart/go back together easily.Being able to simply lift the fountain from the base is so, so nice. Truly…a very worthy purchase, and my Cat loves it!

So far it has been a good fountain for my fur babies. It is pretty quiet. Small in size. Holds a decent amount of water, I have had to fill daily but I have multiple pets using it(at least the ones that will). It was easy to "put together". I ordered a bunch of filters and sponges because they have to be replaced weekly(only down side so far). Does come with a extra set.

It is silent, well-made, and worth every penny.I like the detached pump from the reservoir. It is pretty handy and simplifies cleaning and maintenance.I recommend it.

This is probably the 5th or 6th fountain style we've tried and this is by far the best. Every complaint I've had about prior fountains is solved with this one.First and foremost, our two cats drank from it immediately so that passes the most important test. That aside the design is incredible. Having a stationary base with the plug and motor is so helpful. No more unplugging and moving wires to clean. The tank comes off easily and the use of magnets to drive the motor is such a simple yet ingenious concept. Motor is in the base so no wires or motor to mess around with when cleaning. The magnetic drive also means there is no seals or openings in the bottom, so no leaks. The tank design is simple but well engineered. Other fountains I've had, had drains that were too narrow for filling or positioned so that they made annoying dripping sounds. This fountain is quiet and easy to fill. The only complaint you may see is that it makes an obnoxious sound when it's low, but really just a good reminder that you need to fill it. Highly recommend!

This fountain is great -- our cat loves it. I almost didn't try another fountain because he had totally rejected a different model in the past (and he's very timid), but he went straight for this one. He used to beg for fresh water in his bowl all the time but now he's very happy with his filtered fountain.I didn't really clock the fact that you need to buy these charcoal filters (and sponges) to replace every couple weeks, but they're not expensive and I'm so impressed at how clean they keep the water that I don't mind. I use a number of humidifiers and Brita filters at home and they all get gross pretty quickly, but I cleaned this fountain after 2 weeks and it was immaculate (other than the tiniest bit of harmless carbon dust on an inside part that our cat can't access). And the water was still crystal clear.Highly recommend.

So far so good. We bought this because our other cat fountain pump went out only after about 5 months. This one is a game changer. The base stays put and all you have to do is put the water container on top as it's removable from the base. The set up was super easy. You take the 2 black trays apart and insert the filter in between. They didn't really snap together tight but kinda just rest on top of each other. The quality for this fountain is super reasonable. The amount of water it holds is perfect for at least a week or more with my cat. The only thing I don't like is it doesn't have a light? I don't know if it's supposed to but I didn't see a light. My other one has a blue light and I kinda liked it because it was cool to look at during the nighttime. This fountain is just a white and black plain water fountain. Did I mention it's super quiet? Yup, that's the best part especially if you have a scaredy cat! You can't go wrong with this for that reason alone. I can't hear nothing coming from it at all. It's nice too because it holds a little water in the tray so that if the power goes out your cat will have about 1/2 cup of water to drink in case you're not home when that happens. I love the fountain and so does our cat. He just ate his breakfast and drank his water and now he's resting until the next thirst! Lol
