Holds well and removes easily. It does let go if jolted. For example: I use this to hold lipo batteries on the front end of crawlers and trail rigs. If it hit nose first the velcro lets go and I have to reset it.

The Velcro is made of hard plastic, two halves can accommodate weight, but small surface area of advertised 1 square inch might not be able to hold itself to mounted surface area/wall. Directions are to stick Velcro piece halves on surfaces and wait 24 hours(?). I removed the sticky film on back to have a clean surface and epoxied the Velcro tab to wall, after the product did not hold to wall: this time It took paint off wall as it left, days later; it was carrying less than 5lbs. This could be partially reflecting the paint job. You can use more than one tab to increase application surface area. The tabs are flat, stiff with a thin slick of sticky; consider what you intend to mount tabs to.

I used these on 8 Ikea electric blinds to attach a 'bespoke' valance I had made locally to hide the fabric role. Because the battery door is in the front I needed a system that would allow me to occasionally remove the valance to switch batteries. I had a really complex hinge system that would let me lift the valance up - but sometimes the easy solution works best. I use two one inch squares to hold the valance in place. I can simply 'tug' to release the valance - swap out the battery and then press the put it back into place. My valance is made out of plastic and is pretty light. Maybe a pound or two. I have been using my velcro squares successfully for over a year now with no problem.

The adhesion of the tape backing was very poor. I used 4 (four) sets of 3" x 1" and 8 (eight) 1" x 1" squares to attach a spice rack to the onside of a kitchen pantry doors. Waited more than 24 hours before loading the spice rack and it fell off the door within a few hours! The Alfa-Lok strength is irrelevant if the corresponding adhesive can't handle a comparable load!

El velcro muy bien pero la sujeción a ciertos materiales mala para interiores de carro se despega pero para superficies duras está muy bien
