I was a little hesitant about buying this ring after reading all the “it fell apart reviews†but the pattern that matches my case nudged me to buy it after I looked at the pictures and they all looked the same, like the ring was pulled from the magnet. From experience I know to slide the magnet to remove from the case, not grab it by the inner ring and just pull. The magnet is super strong, I mean really strong, and I can see the ring breaking if you remove by pulling it off. I’m thinking that’s why so many people broke theirs. Also it might be the reason the inner ring gets loose, by pulling it, where most of the pressure will be on the pin attaching the small ring to the piece of metal attached to the larger magnet. Mine is working beautifully and I love it! I’ve removed it several times from the case with no problem. It holds my phone in the position I put it in with no problem. Also some people said the magnet was weak and just fell off the case. I’m just wondering if perhaps they didn’t have a MagSafe case…a MagSafe case or a MagSafe ring installed on the outside of a regular case is needed for this ring to grab the case, and believe me, this ring grabs the case and holds on…like for dear life lol. I’m very pleased with this purchase and would recommend to others. 5+ stars from me but if my ring spontaneously falls apart I will update my review.

Bought this for my wife. She loved the look; however in less than a month, the inner ring broke and will no longer stay against the case when closed, or hold the phone upright when open??? Unless they make some kind of improvement, look for something else, even if it doesn't match the case.

I bought this to match my gem/crystal themed case. It’s easy to slide off, place back on, and it stays firmly in place no worries. So glad I found it! It’s also quite pretty and the inner ring readjusts easily. Likely you’ll be pleased as well.

It was great while it did work. However within only 4 1/2 months the little silver ring became loose and would no long stay put. It would fall every time you slanted your phone to hold it or put it down. It became extremely annoying and prevented your phone from sitting flat easily. While in my living room on the carpet I dropped it(a small distance) and the entire outside portion fell off leaving the outside on the floor and the magnet pieces attached to the phone. Completely broken now and unusable. I feel like it should have lasted longer than 4 1/2 months and the magnets are small which is a HUGE RISK FOR YOUNG CHILDREN. Just want people with young kids to beware this is a potential issue.Update:The company reached out and was great! They offered a replacement which has been great so far!

I ordered the phone case to match the ring but ended up canceling my order for the phone case delivery is taking too long. I can't use on my case I have now I don't have a magnet so I can't use. But very pretty made heavy duty.

*****10/30/24 UPDATED REVIEW****The seller reached out to me to make things right with my purchase. I explained the situation and the seller sent me another ring. It just arrived, and the silver ring seems nice and tight! Fingers crossed that it doesn’t break. Customer service was wonderful!I bought the case and the ring, the first ring I received was broken so I returned it and received a replacement. The replacement arrived and I enjoyed it for one week before the silver ring just came off! So disappointed, it was not cheap and is already broken….the same place as the first one.

I almost didn't purchase this because so many reviewers mentioned that it fell apart. Some reviewers said it didn't even stay on their phone. I will attest to its sticking power. If you have a magsafe Iphone, this is not falling off. The magnets hold it very tightly on the case. If you need to remove it, it's important to carefully pry it up not using the ring to pull it off. I think this is why some people 's ring holders fell apart. They might have forcibly pulled it off thus causing the ring attachment over time to come off and fall apart. I am enjoying my matching ring holder and case (French Blue Floral).

At first, this grip was fantastic, I was able to remove it to charge my phone with MagSafe and put it back on. It is cute and matches my phone case, and for the first month, I loved it. Sadly, over time it quickly started to lose its grip strength and would fall off my phone, then what disappointed me the most was how flimsy it became. The metal ring wouldn't stay propped closed against the phone, it would dangle loosely, and the most frustrating part is that finally the metal ring snapped off from the magnet circle and it is not repairable. This is all from normal everyday use of just holding my phone with it, I am not tugging on it or manipulating it to weaken it, it just becomes weak on its own over time, an unfortunate design flaw. So until the company actually reads the reviews of how weak this item is and addresses the design flaw, I won't be purchasing another one. This one only lasted me 4 months. I'll be looking into other magnetic phone grip rings elsewhere that are designed to withstand daily use.Previously titled (Won't last long, spend your money on a better grip)AMENDEMENT TO FIRST REVIEW: The seller reached out to me and informed me they had a 1 year warranty, I was pleasantly surprised!! So they are sending me a replacement. They also mentioned they are working on improvements to the grip so that was good news. I look forward to my replacement and hope that it lasts longer and maybe my first one was a dud, who knows! All in all, I was appreciative to be contacted and given a replacement, it improves the experience knowing they are listening and understanding. :)

As pretty as this magnetic holder is it broke the first few weeks I had it. I tried using Gorilla Glue to fix it, but it didn’t work. I would love for it to be replaced, yet I cannot find who to Contact. Can someone from customer support please help? I’d love to update my review if the replaced one doesn’t break. Thank you! The magnet portion worked great, just not the hinge. I was happy while it worked and sad when it broke.
