I put this in my schoolbus- 2-RV conversion. Works great. I have a full size LP range in my bus and this works great to get the heat out. I have had this fan for almost four years now. My parents had one in a vintage mobile home and it worked much better that the normal over the range hood vents.Takes at least 8-1/2 inch hole to go thru the wall. There is a protrusion in the front left hand bottom corner that you have to allow space for (see pic, excuse greasy mess as it works very well). Add an extension onto the ball chain as it's a bit too short. If you do lose the chain thru the fan, cut a cheap plastic drinking straw down to long enough to fit completely thru the vent. From the outside, slip the straw over the chain. Push the straw thru the hole and past the switch. Push more chain thru the straw before pulling the chain and straw completely thru from the interior. Be careful of the running fan.

Product is of fair quality, as normal power is at a different location than one being replaced. I have replaced 4 different units in homes and every original has power junction in upper left (inside view) replacements are on lower left. Also these are apparently for varying wall thickness applications although I have never seen a 2x6 wall on an older manufactured home. Other than that they fit fine just protrude out a little more than original on the interior wall. So far so good.

Bought a cheaper model. Didn't do the job. This exhaust fan is high quality , all metal. Really pulls air, odors, and grease away when cooking. Very happy with product. Well worth the price. Installation went well using power tool to cut hole. Be warned, your yard will smell great when you're cooking!

Noises and cold air comes in when outside flap shut when turned off. Slot for chain that’s cut out at top not the bottom of the slot makes it difficult to turn on and off

This product does not seal completely. Love the idea of not having to have a range hood as the standard is 30 inches wide and cabinets were made for a tiny house. Had to caulk around it but can still see daylight. Wish someone could make one like use to be in 1970's mobile homes

Needed a replacement vent fan through the wall above the stove on a 1969 mobile home. That's correct; 1969. Just lucked up on finding this one, and I could not believe it. Installed it with no problem, as it was for the most part identical to the original. Works fine. Thanks, Amazon!

Bought for my mom. She states little more noise than she likes but a perfect fit. I think its exactly what we were looking for.

It is almost the exact same fan that is in Grandma's 30 year old trailer. Except the transformer is in a different location, instead of the lower left corner its in the top left corner so it required a little extra fitting.
