I needed a new trumpet mouthpiece brush, and the only reason I chose this one was because it qualified for Prime add-on shipping, but it is basic, functional, and gets the job done. I find that rinsing my mouthpiece in the sink under hot water and giving it a brushing every couple weeks is enough to keep my mouthpiece backbore and throat clean and smooth. When a mouthpiece is in particularly gross shape, I actually put it in boiling water in a pot on the stove, let it cool, and then brush and rinse ut. (sounds complicated, but gets the job done)

Small enough to actually clear the throat of the mouthpiece big side to small. Hot water and this brush has kept my Trumpet mouthpiece ultra clean. The standard mouthpiece brush that came with my Trumpet was far to big to actually be effective. The bristles on this brush are much higher quality than the default brush I had to begin with as well. Priced better than the local music store.

The brush that came with a brass cleaning kit we ordered was too large to fit in the valve holes and mouthpiece. So we ordered this and it works great. My son uses it to clean his trumpet. Although we haven't used it many times, it has been simple and effective. I recommend it.

I didn't knew it was just a mouth piece brush, I only pay about $2-$3 but a toothpick will do the same job

I used to play trombone. Now I work in the environment consulting field which involves opening up groundwater monitoring well roadbox covers frequently. The road box covers contain threaded bolts. Sediment inevitably finds it's way into the tiny crevasses of the threads in the roadbox which makes it a pain to screw the bolts back in.But not with this little brush! A couple strokes with this tapered brush and most of that sediment is gone! Makes my job a lot easier and more efficient.

This is just what I needed to keep my mouthpiece nice and clean! It is small enough to fit into the bore of a French horn mouthpiece, but large enough that it would also help clean a larger mouthpiece as well.

It's a mouthpiece brush; does what it's supposed to do and it does it pretty well. Feels solid.The brittles are a bit tougher than some people might expect, but it's good and it cleans well
