You can't beat Verbatim, especially when it comes to older burners... no coasters in the 50 I have used...

Work fine for me, using the built-in drive on my Acer lap top computer; played back on Oppo blu ray player. Not very fast for write speed capability, but I guess that DVD media isn't a high priority for them to develop the technology any further at this point.

20 of the 50 disks failed. I've never had this many Verbatim disks fail like this in 10 years of delivering the customers data in this format. Don't know whether this was a bad batch or they were stored improperly, but I'm ordering a different brand from an alternate supplier.

My computer writes to these, and reads these, but not a one is playable in a conventional DVD player. The stuff over the hub area appears to block out the information written in the hub area. Because the conventional player searches and searches and searches for the start of the DVD.

Arrived in a week via USPS. The packaging leaves much to be desired, only 2 bubble envelopes so the spindle was broken but the disk's are ok. The printable surface is of high quality and they hold the specified quantity. I use them to create video and photo compilation, backups of DVD and VCR tapes. They are single use so you cannot rewrite to them once you close the disk. Always had good luck with Verbatim disk's very high quality rairly find a bad disk. Yes they do cost more than other disk's but you get the quality you pay for.
