I’m a professional sharpener and I had been looking for a food grade lube that I could use on customer’s knives and also scissor, shear, and garden tool pivots and this product has filled that void well. I’ve been using it for months now and I’m happy with its performance. I’ve also used it on door hinges and other home uses and it’s worked well for that too.

I bought this to lubricate the plastic slides in a vending drink machine. It works great without odor and is food safe too.Great product.

This ships with a seal on the mouth of the bottle, under the lid. The lid was just a little loose and that seal failed, so my bottle arrived in a very slippery bubble mailer, needing a good wipe-down. Not much oil was lost, but enough to make a mess.Otherwise, the product seems great so far. I'm a big fan of 3-in-1 oil but obviously there are places you don't want to use that, so I'm glad to have a food safe lubricant around the house besides vegetable oil - which can get really sticky and nasty if it's not being constantly cleaned off. While it might be great if this oil smelled like coconut, I can't detect any scent at all in it.This oil seems to have a very low viscosity, so it spreads and "creeps" very nicely, just like my trusty 3-in-1 but without the petroleum ingredients and strong smell. This will be great for lubricating moving parts on any kitchen tools where an oil is needed rather than a grease (and I have food safe greases for that). This should also be excellent for coating carbon steel knives after washing to keep them from getting rusty. I have a few of those I just can't let go of because they take an edge so well!The applicator tip (it's just like a sriracha sauce or mustard bottle) is useful, but some sort of long precision applicator for getting into tight spaces would put this product over the top.

…..but I have no reason to believe it is not coconut derived.An excellent price for the amount of oil you receive, especially oil that can be used in food processing equipment. However, after seeing how is quieted the squeaky hinges on my back door, it’s nice to know that it can effectively replace petroleum based products.How it lasts is another story, one that will require time to learn.

I used this on soda can dispenser slides. It worked perfectly. I tried several other lubricants and they all kept binding.Zero binding with this

This oil is really useful for all sorts of things around the house. I used it on my squeaky door hinges, my rusty bike chain, and even on my tools to prevent rust. It works really well and doesn't have a strong smell. It's also safe to use around food, which is great. I like that it's made from natural ingredients and is good for the environment. It's a great all-around oil to have on hand for anything that needs a little lubrication!

This oil was highly effective in freeing up stuck parts and smoothing any moving objects, such as my garage door. It works exceptionally well, and I appreciate that it is made from non-toxic components. Additionally, it offers long-lasting protection against rust. Overall, it’s a fantastic product, and I highly recommend it.

I like the concept of a lubricant that is specifically intended for food equipment. I tested it on a couple of kitchen sheers and there is a definite improvement of making it smooth to operate again.
