What I like most about the Jorzor Vertical Fishing Rod Holder is that it has a soft but grippy surface that is applied to the pinching mechanism. This prevents scratching but will hold some even if wet. The holder is plastic, and the wall mount is aluminum.It is not that large. It will hold 4 rods. The spring that rotates the cam is fairly strong and this will hold your fishing rod even if it is a heavy set up. The cams slide somewhat on the aluminum mounting plate so you can get to the screw holes and also adjust to compensate for a larger reel. The screw holes are not 16" on center stud distances so at least od of them will require some wall screw that does not go into a stud.If you have a few light rods you want to hand up in your garage and get them out of the corner, then this is what you need. It is not particularly handsome, but it gets the job done, is easy to install and is reasonably priced.4 stars

To begin with, let me say this is for my RV ladder, it is not for my RV ladder when I'm going down the highway. I found myself looking for a place to store my rods at the lake while not fishing. I came across this and I ended up making a wooden frame for it that allows it to slip onto the rails of the R. V. Ladder and rest on one of the steps. This is working out really good for me. It keeps my rods up off the ground.
