I watched this unit for over a year. The price fluctuated $1500. I finally bought it at its low point and couldn't be happier. Assembly sucks, as it weighs enough you'll need 3 people at a minimum to put it together. Some of the I-Beam holes on the top are way too close to the column, and the bolt heads get really close to binding, but it did all go together without any modification.

I purchased this crane from Zoro because I got a better price. 100% satisfied. You will need at least three people or a lift to assemble it. I had three people to unload it from the delivery truck and six to assemble and it went pretty well.Everything I own is on casters or a skid that will allow movement with a pallet jack. The gantry crane makes this possible. It also makes a heck of a welding positioner. I can't weld overhead, but then I don't need to. I purchased a geared trolley which allows for accurate positioning of loads (so happy I go this, I almost did not spring for the extra $$$). The 10' width allow easy movement of a trailer under the crane to unload heavy equipment and materials. I know this is not for everyone. I am fortunate to have the money and space to own this beast.
