I purchased this to go with a 55-gal poly barrel that my 10-year old son wanted for Christmas (yes, my son wanted a barrel for Christmas!). This fits perfectly with the standard bung nuts, good price, and seems to be well made. I suppose one could wear it out with lots of use, but I don't think that will be a problem.

I ordered two large 15 gallon drums for brewing purposes and realized I had no way to open them! This tool does the job. Both small and large ends fit the two openings. It's sturdy and fits the bill - great product!

non sparking tool to use on drum closures; safe to use around gasoline and other flammable products. Could stand to be a bit stronger; not sure how long this will last, even with light useage.

These things grow legs and can not be found when needed. I bought this bung wrench to attach to my water storage barrels. It is light weight and inexpensive enough to dedicate to just this purpose, and currently available with super saver shipping.

Great wrench. Better build quality than the cheap aluminum wrenches. I have used this several times on 15gal & 55gal barrels, it is strong enough to do the job. The expensive industrial metal wrenches would be overkill for my needs.

I needed a tool to remove the cap on my rain barrel so I could try and clean out the inside of the barrel. A buddy works for a major automotive equipment and tool company and told me exactly what I needed. I tried to find this same model locally but without luck. On a hunch, I searched Amazon. I'm glad I did. This does the trick, and it's so easy to use. I'd recommend it to anyone needing to take the cap off a rain barrel or oil drum. It's perfect.

As shown in today's picture on Amazon.ca's website, the synthetic handle is not full.It has a visible reinforcing framework on it's hollow belly side.I was able to easily tighten the bung of a 5 gallon plastic jerrycan with this wrench before vehicle transportation.The fit was good: the wrench part (male) being 3 mm smaller than the corresponding bung part (female cavity), allowing for the inter-spacing of a thin sheet of fabric to keep the nylon from getting in contact with any leaking highly corrosive chemical, if wanted.The handle is very slightly flexible on its flat axis.
