I was a little concerned after reading some reviews that their lids had arrived bent. However, mine arrived in perfect condition. It fits a little loose, I thought it might be a closer fit since all 55 gal. drums are the same diameter, but it's fine I just put a couple of bricks on top so it won't blow off in windy weather. I bought this to keep the rain out of my burn barrel. I recommend it.

I use this to cover a burn barrel when it rains. I couldn’t find a trash can lid big enough. It is heavy enough so that it doesn’t blow away in the wind.

Lid fits a 55 gallon drum well even with the drum lid also in place. However, the handle is fixed to the lid by penetrating the lid. So if water tightness is desired, the handle must be caulked.

Ordered this to cover my chicken dust bath. I sunk the dust bath trough into the ground and use this to protect it from rain when not in use. Perfect! Great value and super durable!

when I purchased this in December, the title did not say INDOOR USE, now it does. And it's definitely not for outdoor use if you expect it to stop rain water from leaking in. the handle needs to be sealed up with your favorite water sealing calk/whatever. Once you seal it up, it's just fine. I'm glad they updated the title, but I think they should specify that the lid does not keep water from dripping in.
