This is a special-application dolly. It is NOT a heavy-duty industrial device. It is an extremely high quality limited use unit. It is only suited to decent/sound generally clean flat floor surfaces. It is simply a case of being essentially perfect for a niche-application. In my case, I supply and install (seasonally) air conditioners in the apartments in my old apartment building. The big ones are around 75 lbs. and I/we/you should not be carrying or lifting them. This dolly lifts and lowers them from the window after I slide them in or out, and dollys them through the hall. This dolly is not a stair-climbing type. I then transfer them to another dolly that I modified (motorized) for stairs. A more typical application is a firm with a lot of electronic desk apparatus in the 1 to 2 hundred pound range, to move around regularly. My application is possibly more helpful to mention because it is less ordinary. It is very easy to transport, notwithstanding that I have a big minivan and Grand Cherokee to do so. For me, the extra top wheels are helpful; the model sold through the other manufacture source might not include that additional feature.The seller arranged shipping that was perfectly convenient to me, but you probably have to be in a fairly large metropolitan environment like this to have such convenient freight shipment.

This hand truck is well built and works effectively. As others have noted, the lift table won't go down on its own when empty. It needs to have some weight or the winch cables tangle when lowering, or you can push it down with your hands. This isn't a big deal though. A heavier left table might lower on its own when the winch is lowered, but then it would just add unneeded weight to the hand truck. Overall, it works very well. Mine was supposed to be a "new, unopened box" from Amazon, but it had obviously been opened before and the instructions and some parts were missing. The manufacturer, Vestil, was very responsive and shipped me the missing parts quickly.

I love this unit. I actually had the 330 pound capacity steel unit but sent it back for in exchange for this one for the following reasons: 1) This one is made of aluminum and weighs 67 lbs versus the 330 that is 113 lbs. 2) When stowed, it's shorter and has a smaller footprint than the 330. 3) Because of the telescoping function it can raise the loads higher than the 330. While it cost more and has it's a much better fit for me and the 200+ lb capacity is fine for my needs.
