I just wrote a pretty lengthy review on another product, but couldn't have completed the install without this cable. This is probably the thickest cable I have ever worked with and was both heavy and heavy duty. It's much thicker than the original Tesla cable I had used. I think that's only a good thing, considering the voltage going through this. It was somewhat challegning getthing the inner cables installed inside of the Tesla charger, but I think it would be a lot easier to do a second time.I've purchased some other VEVOR products in the past (machines with motors) that were trash, so I was pretty apprehensive about buying something this importnat/critical, but was really high quality. This is really heavy duty and competitively priced vs. the other options. I am running 40A through it just fine and believe it was rated for 50 when I looked at the documentation.

The cable is robust and very substantial. The individual stands of copper wire that comprise each power leg, and the neutral are all #6 gauge (gnd is #8) and are fine and soft stranded copper. I found this to be an excellent quality cable whose value is emphasized but its comparative price point. However, any cable of this size will require some strength to manage it, coil it and carry it around. It is stiff but once in place will meet my emergency power needs. One thing I found troubling was the product description: it stated the voltage rating was 50 volts. I was confident this was a typo and upon unboxing, verified that the cable jacket was stamped with a 600 volt rating - which I suspected would be the case. The description may have changed by the time you read this review. If I had to suggest any improvement it would be in the area of the external jacket to make the cable more supple. The internal conductors are very flexible but the external jacket is too stiff. Another thing is that the orange plastic cable carrier provided with this item does not fit around the 25 foot cable as it arrived coiled in the box. The carrier is essentially useless with this item but can be used with other (smaller) cables.

Built well, strong, sturdy, easy hook up, great instruction, works great with 6 gauge wire and where the wire enters the bottom of the plug it seals properly. Did a test run with it and it works great. The wire is very thick, easy to use when needed and is well protected from the weather.

Very heavy and well made. I only wished it was a little more flexible. It will probably be more flexible after laying in the sun for a while.
