  • Wide Application: The water line locator can be attached to a drain cleaning cable or a water jet hose to locate the remote transmitter in a line. So it can be installed at the end of a fiberglass push cable, duct rod, or sewer cable.


The 512 hz sonde locator transmits a 512 Hz signal that can be picked up with any compatible locator, allowing users to pinpoint the transmitter's position underground. The flashing LED indicates that sonde is transmitting. The maximum detection range of transmitter for underground pipe location is 25 feet in the air and 15 feet in cast iron (varies with ambient noise and interference).

I bought the sonde for my sewer business, I just started, to locate sewers. I used it on one job and it did fine, on the second job it would not locate the line correctly. I have only had it for 6 weeks and could not get any compensation. BE CAUTIOUS

excited about using it. turned it one and it worked for about a minute... never again. It took months of bad reviews and complaints to the company before they would replace it. Second one worked until we got to the jobsite. Then no more!!! company will not respond. DONT BUY, GUSTOMER SERVICE AND PRODUCT BOTH ARE GARBAGE...VEVOR DOES NOTHING TO HELP!!!! STAY OFF THAT WEBSITE

Received the item and immediately put a battery in it. The light came on and I put it in the truck. Got to the job and it NEVER WORKED! LED lights up but zero output. Three months and still fighting with the manufacturer! Don't waste your money
