I changed the blade and use it as a hobby table saw for my R/C models. Works great on soft and hard woods.

Probably should have spent a little more and got a different saw. Came without any clear assembly instructions. The metal table vibrates and makes all kinds of noise, the water tray is not attached in anyway so the water goes everywhere while using. The blade cover actually gets in the way because the screws holding the bracket stick up above the table top. Would not recomend.

This saw takes a little assembly upon receipt of, but pretty simple to figure out (the quasi-English user guide isn't of much help). I took a chance in purchasing this lower cost saw, versus the ones that are selling at double the cost, but in knowing I don't install ceramic tiles for a living, it was worth the chance. Upon receiving, I am very happy with the overall quality of this saw. Taking into account that I purchased this saw for cutting carbon fiber sheeting and thin sheet aluminum sheeting for a boat renovation project. So, for these I subbed a metal cut-off wheel, and a serrated diamond blade (Note: saw requires a 7/8" Arbor size.), and the saw worked just fine, and I sawed a lot of expense for 'my intermittent projects' needs. I should interject that I've purchased other 'VEVOR' brand shop tools, and I've been very happy with their quality as well.

* Cuts extremely jagged edge with heavy chipping of ceramic tile surface.* Breaks off tile corner at end of cut.* Strong vibration during normal use.* Poorest of quality blade.* Water tray leaks water everywhere and fails to capture much of water dripping from table surface.* Mechanical design captures debris from tile in pivot joints and difficult to clean areas.* Looks, feels, and operates far below any reasonable standard or quality.
