This dolly is well-built (heavy) and designed to meet the need - I agree that there could be a little more weld on the wheels and that the instruction photos are poor but it wasn't really that hard to assemble - I would also reiterate a previous comment - the extra bolts, nuts, washers are in one of the tubes - even has a sticker on it to tell you, so check there before posting that it is missing.It is not as portable as those smaller dollies but I was not enjoying having to lift my heavy kayak and drop it on the C-Tug and then cinch it down - plus the C-Tug wheel dont roll as well as the Vevor does although I do wish the wheels had bearings - it looks like they just ride on the plastic(?) material.The breakdown of the dolly is pretty easy - I just bought some of those wire lock pins and used them everywhere - makes it a snap to assemble/disassemble.I am considering a mod to it to accept a coupler but will use it as-is for a bit to get a feel for if needed or not - I also may enlarge the pad holes to allow for maneuvering the pads to a greater angle - we'll see on that one too.Edit - Used it for first time on 10/5 - worked well easy to put into water than to get out - the wheels float so you have to step on the trailer to drop it for loading. The handle is bad - not a good pull point - I will look at mod to make it more comfortable. I can tell you that if you have a steep ramp and a heavy kayak that it will still feel heavy - thinking about modding it to put a trailer coupler on it to pull w truck up to an unloading spot. Otherwise - it is easy to assemble/disassemble, faster to get into/out of the boat ramp area, and I didn’t get water into my boots like I used to so all-in-all it is a winner for me.Edit #2 - Was having issues keeping the kayak centered on the pedestals when loading it from ramp - would take forever to get it rich as you still have to deal with the floating issue so, I added a doubled up 3†strap that spans the pedestals (similar to the dynamic dolly that Greg Blanchard uses) - problem solved.

Bought for a 12’ Jon boat for family pond.Kind of steep where we launch, but this thing works great, getting the boat in (only one required) and out (takes two). But so much easier than carrying the boat. Can launch with everything in it.

This seem s to be a robust trailer and will suit my needs, with a bit of adjustment, my dingy has a bit of an unusual shape.the kit was missing one of the bolts from the kit, luckily it was not a critical one. It was one of the ones needed to hold the forward support plated (item 2 as noted on page 4 of the users manual).Part number Y3 on page 5.I will need to get one soon.

It needs a pin hitch adaptor to hook to my garden tractor. A simple 3/8 inch slot with a 3/8 pin hole would do it. It may be difficult to use with small boats by reason of the front support location, which cannot be changed. Otherwise a rugged and simple trailer. Get a color print of the trailer because the assembly instructions are rather worthless.

There is a reason that this boat dolly gets returned so many times (according to Amazon). I received mine in a beat up box. It had obviously been returned. Parts were incomplete as others have noted. Not just screws and bolts but also missing plates. The kicker is that they included the incorrect user manual and assembly instructions. The product I bought is the CY420. That is also what it said on the box, but the user manual is for model QYC1000 as noted in the photograph. I needed the trailer, so I improvised with parts that I had in my garage, truly a Frankenstein trailer. I do not recommend this product for anybody else who is looking for quality boat dolly/trailer. Oh, and they don’t have a toll-free phone help desk….just an email address. Vevor motto is “Tough Tools, Half Priceâ€â€¦.more like “Half #*@“

we love are kayak trailer, we pull it with our golf cart , we put a trailer hitch on the trailer and the cart so when we hook them up, put your toys on top 2 kayaks or canoe with tubes and floats and then pile everyone on the golf cart and then just grab your best cocktail and head to river or beach. you could do this with any trailer, BUT, with this handy trailer we can take it apart in the middle and the two parts with the wheels still on fit in the same trailer that the golf cart goes in and we go back home.

Holes misaligned on one part and not completed on another part. Had to drill them out which can’t help stability. Assembly instructions could be improved by including some drawings.

If you watch the video, it will get you halfway there. But point your bolts down, in the opposite direction the man on the video did it so you won't scratch your kayak.It is very well built, just bad instructions. It is well worth the $103. I bought it to pull behind my golf cart to the launch ramp.

C'est un plaisir de recevoir un colis dans lequel il manque de nombreuses pièces (visserie, cornières...)je précise que le colis était parfaitement fermé.Je n'ai pas voulu reconditionner ce gros colis pour le renvoyer et de devoir attendre encore.J'ai donc fabriqué les pièces manquantes et adapté cette remorque.Je ne sais pas si c'est le fabricant qui n'a pas fait son job ou si c'est un colis de plus qui a été réexpédié après un retour client.Quoi qu'il en soit tout le monde est content sauf moi qui ai perdu mon temps.

Ich habe den Trailer für ein kleineres 2,1m Schlauchboot gekauft, weil ich etwas Robusteres für die Fahrt zum Wasser über eine längere Schotterstrasse brauchte. Soweit passt alles, aber die vordere Auflage ist nicht, wie in der Beschreibung der Eindruck erweckt wurde verschiebbar, sondern fix im Abstand von190cm von den hinteren zwei Auflagen verschweisst. Nur die Griffstange allein ist verschiebbar. Habe mir aus Holz eine zusätzliche Auflage gebastelt,die ich verschieben und meiner Bootsgrösse anpassen kann.

I got this for a small dinghy sailboat dolly, It works great. Perfect for lightweight boat. I did find that the back pads slightly deformed the plastic hull, and I plan to modify a plywood form to the shape of the full width of the hull. This dolly is a great value and every boat is different, thus modifying maybe required.
