For the price and what this thing can lift I was thoroughly impressed. What ever the weight it says it is rated for I usually feel comfortable multiplying that weight by 1.5 and I feel fine using it... We used it to pick up and place a bunch of concrete structures weighing between 4,000 and 12,000 pounds aka 2-6 ton and it seemed perfectly fine. Didnt hear any signs of stress, however one of the clips broke off too easily which costs a dollar or two to replace. One huge thing people have to keep in mind is the lack of the metal OSHA tag that has the weight ratings on it.. If OSHA pulls up on a job site, you can get fined for using this 4 way lifting chain in a heart beat.. That does NOT mean it is junk by any means, but the same chain with that proper OSHA tag your looking at a minimum of 800=-1,500... So keep that in mind, because if the stop by while your using it, they are checking for that tag period.

I'm not a professional rigger, but I know a bit about load ratings and after careful inspection I trust this sling. I did choose to add o-rings to the pins on the long side to push them deeper into the holes made by factory and reduce slop, but that is not required so far as I can tell. My preference is to have as much pin contacting the load bearing steel as possible, and as evenly as possible on both sides of the hooks. Videos are coming out slowly of farmers using these in the field to their rated strength and so far, no one is having any failures. They are NOT TAGGGED for professional use, but the chains are labeled with grade and the CE ratings do appear on hooks along with WLLs.

Osha isn't running my operation so this sling is used and performance exceeds expectations. I would pay a much higher price if i need OSHA tags, so the dingleberries buying this should know why it's much cheaper and stop whining.I have since purchased four more for family members and they are 100% satisfied.

Arrived on time . Better quality than expected.love the extrachooks so you can shorten them to fit off angle lifts. TAGGED TO PROPER CERTIFICATION . I bought the 5 ft and intend to purchase 10ft one soon .
