No real complaints - the plating seems decent enough, it seems like it really is 100', and will do what I need. My only criticism is that some of the welds aren't real smooth, and it seems like one may need to be careful to avoid getting snagged by a burr if handling it without gloves.

This is cheap decorative chain, not true grade 30 chain. If you want to hang a light or a shade sail, it would be fine, but if you plan to put any mechanical tension on it at all, look elsewhere. Now rather than a 100ft chain, I have about a 40 and a 60 foot piece, a missing broken link that shot off like a bullet, and a return label. Don't use this stuff under any type of load, it will fail.Edit* Picture added: The next day we found a piece of the shattered link, notice both the flat failed weld, and also the pitted, rusty steel underneath the bright zinc coating.
