this thing is great...I really wish I had purchased the xl model. Although it resembles a tent, it goes together way easier and I had it up in 15 minutes. Now that I've done it a couple of times probably 10 minutes. Remember the guy rule, if you are going to use the directions, ONLY LOOK AT THE PICTURES. Trust me, that will make things much easier.I used this two days ago to spray paint a 4 1/2 foot buffet, inside and out incl. all drawers and doors. The spray tent is a mess but my driveway is spotless.Is it very lightweight, yep, that's the beauty of it. Its a large spray tent...once you put the large thing you want to paint in it you'll be fine. Great invention, reasonable price, you can't go wrong!

I really like this paint tent for spray painting projects. It keeps bugs and debris from ruining your paint job. It's a little tricky to set up, but once I did, I understand how it works for the next time. There are poles that connect with elastic type string in between the joints, so it doesn't fall apart. I keptine up for awhile because I had a lot of projects. It rained and got really wet because of the screen. That was my fault. Overall, worth it for a lot of painting and decent size.

Assembly has to be "Intuitive" because the instructions are worthless. I through away the instructions and applied years of assembling tents (personal and boy scouts) and it popped right up. I assembled it on packed (raked) dirt. 1st stake out the 4 corners. 2nd un velcro the front screen mesh (more wiggle room). 3rd don't assemble the poles. There are 2 cloth sleeves on the top 1 across the front and 1 across the back. 4th assemble 1 pole as you slide it through the sleeve. Slide it through till you come to the 2nd curved pole connecter. The pole through the back sleeve goes to the front corners and the pole through the front sleeve goes to the back corners. 5th snap the retaining clips ontu the poles then use the tie down to secure where the poles cross. DONE! Now paint.

I bought this to repaint a set of wheels. I did not want the hassle of some of the larger products similar to this as I don't have a ton of space available. I also did not want spend a bunch of money on something I wouldn't use often. Fortunately this is big enough to do most of the jobs I find myself doing and I also find myself using it more often than I originally thought I would. It would be nice if it was a little bigger but for the price I have a hard time being very critical due to how many projects I can use it for. The set up is pretty easy and can be done solo. I would recommend this to a friend.

Poor design: panels are Velcro in only a few spots allowing bugs etc to get in. The front is not staked down so the floor won’t stay tight and flat. Would fall down in even the lightest breeze.Low quality materials: stakes are small and flimsy and bend easy. Tension rods broke on first use.

Worked well for my purposes the first week I used it, but after leaving it in storage for several months, I tried reassembling and all of the rubber bands holding the frame assembly together snapped for both supports. No way to fix it or get it together now.

I can honestly say that I don't understand the negative reviews. In fact for the money I'm actually quite impressed. If you pull the corners tight while putting down the stakes there are no issues with the back flopping in the wind. I taped a 20" x 20" a/c filter to the back of a box fan and taped the vent flap to the top of the fan to remove overspray from my work area. That worked great but I still wore a mask to keep from breathing the fumes. I would definitely recommend this paint booth to a friend. I'm very pleased with this purchase.
