We have had four pools in our different houses, and we’ve learned a lot about filtration. We’ve had sand filters, DE filters and a cartridge filter. In my opinion, the sand filter does the best job keeping the pool clean with the least amount of maintenance. This Vevor filter is a really a good buy! It’s the perfect size for our pool and was a snap to connect to the pump and heater. Everything but the pvc was included and the inlets/outlets were marked so it made for an easy installation. We have other Vevor items including the pool motor, so we are familiar with the make and trust the quality. I’m sure this will last for many years.

When adding sand make sure the assembly inside is setting at the bottom. Have used sand filter for two months, works great, good price.

This is a cool sand filter generally. I like that they added a clear section for the wastewater so you can see the quality of the water as you’re trying to power flush. But the fittings are loose and you have to use lots of Teflon. Whoever made this needs to pay attention to American fittings. There’s one slip fitting for the wayside. It just doesn’t work with PVC. I’ve done lots of installations with sand filters in this one is good for what I said, excepting for the quality of the fittings that are threaded. I was impressed that they put unions in for the for the input, output, and drain. Nice addition.

First thing they made the collar that holds the head on out of plastic instead of metal. Which means I'll have to loosen it come winter to keep the stress off it. Then they tapped all the tread holes way too deep. They give you teflon tape why I don't know. What are you going too do wrap it around 15 times or so? Teflon tape is not ment too seal it's meant to lubricate. So be prepared to have a thread sealer on hand. I used Silicon in a tube. Even the port for the pressure gauge you can turn in the plug that comes installed in buy hand then it slips after it gets so tight. I glued in a nipple with goop by threading it in till just before it slips.. Beware of buying this unit and I had to wait a long time for it to arrive too. Shipping was bad. Does look good though.

Ottimo prodotto è arrivato la versione più piccola montato in quanto la piscina erano alcuni giorni che aveva la pompa spenta quindi avevo paura che l'acqua si rovinasse, nonostante tutto filtra molto bene .arrivato con tutti i raccordi e guarnizioni

Verpackung top Ausgepackt aber dann gemerkt das das Saurohr Nicht Richtig bzw Fehlerhaft verklebt wurde (Pvc Spizial Kleber und Reiniger braucht man )aber sonnst ok
