This is basically a moving blanket -We are using it around a drum set in a church, so we didn't want a typical ordinary moving blanket because they often have unmatched colors, poor stiching and such.This one was perfect: all black, extra handles (loops) sewn in just the right places. We had it up and functioning in a very short time, and it does damp down the sound quite well!!

These work well for soundproof blankets as well as to keep the cold out! I put them over the windows in my studio to keep it warm and to soundproof. I also put one to cover a hallway with no door.

I use a studio mic for live streaming at my desk which is right in front of a bare plaster wall. This was causing audible sound reflections in my room, so I bought this to reduce the reflections off of that wall. It works out very well. *** THIS IS NOT A SOUNDPROOFING BLANKET *** Soundproofing requires much more elaborate measures. The quality of construction is just fine for me. There are a couple loose threads/thread ends, but not concerned about that. It's hung on the wall using a series of coat hooks across the top edge. The weight of this blanket is substantial. Much heavier than I was expecting. Great value for the price.*** RECOMMEND ***

Very heavy, but works great to cut out noise. Although, it feels more like a moving blanket than a "curtain".

This is a furniture moving blanket, not a soundproof, acoustic or noise blocking one. Even their manual says so (see the photo). It's made of polyester and cotton, and there is nothing acoustic about it.It blocks as much sound as any thick blanket. Definitely not worth the price.

It’s massive, truly, but that’s about it. It doesn’t dampen sound. Tested multiple times, can still hear clearly. A waste for me. It’s heavy and large. Doesn’t suit the purpose I bought it for at all. Keeps out the light though? So… I guess that’s a plus?

Heavy Moving Blanket well worth the money! I am using them as a sound barrier in my apartment. I was going to double them but no need for that! Excellent Quality and I Highly Recommend.

While this product looks nice from afar, it is evident that the manufacturer isn't concerned with the quality of the sowing on the fabric, first of all there was a rip in the fabric upon arrival, and then the rings that is supposed to hold this thing up gets ripped if you hold it in just the one ring, probably due to the haphazardly placement of the rings. I'm going to ask for a refund

This will do the job. Good weight and thickness. There is no Odour like some reviewers say and it is heavy enough to dampen the sound. Don’t expect soundproofing that’s unrealistic.
