Honestly, I don't know what all the people complaining about the assembly are on about. The instructions are pure pictograms. All the bolts are shipped in the holes where you need to put them. Remove the bolt, put the pieces together, put the bolt right back where you found it.All the nuts are the nylon anti-vibration sort, so they should stay put just fine. All the actual pieces are made of decent gauge steel, it seems very sturdy. After assembly I gave it a tour of the side yard. Even though it had just rained and the leaves were wet, it did a good job of filling the basket easily. Dumping them is easy enough with the rope. What I plan to do is put a big tarp down in the area I'm working and just make passes and drop stuff on the tarp as I drive over it. When the tarp's full, drag it off to the burn pit. No more leaves. Yay.

The quality of the unit is actually quite good and well thought out. The documentation was pretty good until I got to the bag assembly and then it got real confusing. I had to lay everything out and hold the instruction booklet upside down to orient myself. Once I understood what was intended then it was fairly easy. I have used it extensively 3 times now and I would say that grass and leaf pickup capability is a 9 out of 10, it really does work well. As others have mentioned, the unloading process is not well thought out. The rope that pivots the bag forward has accidentally gotten caught in the spindle a number of times which was a real bear to untangle. The bag pivots to dump its contents onto the machine itself which makes no sense, it generates a huge mess. Even with its downsides, I can sweep my entire back yard in 10-15 minutes, where it took me an hour or more to rake/blow previously. I still need to rake/blow the dump piles into the woods but that's only 10 more minutes. I do like very much that the bag frame is assembled with clevis pins which is easy to not only add/remove to the sweeper but that it can easily be all disassembled and stored for the winter in a much smaller profile. I intend to store the sweeper itself vertically to save garage space. Overall I am very pleased with this unit given its low cost price point, compared to other products on the market it was a great value. I cannot speak to its long term durability but it seems well made and I expect it will last many years with minor repairs.

I just got mine in today put it together. My thoughts are this is the biggest piece of crap I've ever bought a day in my life the instructions weren't clear when you're actually using the device you have to keep getting off to adjust it because it binds up if the yard changes when you go to dump it you have to get off because when the dump bed comes up it dumps it all over itself the only good thing about this is a fact I can drive around on my mower and it looks like I'm doing something

got this to collect grass and leaves to make my own mulch. and this makes cake walk out of it all. you don't have to get off the machine either just sit on the string and when you wanna dump just pull your string :)i have found you have to go kinda slow for it to pick up. and set it lower then you may think in grass and on the roads just drop it all way down to sweep things up.

Putting this together was a nightmare. I too was missing parts. It works well on level surfaces and going up hill. But if I go down hill all the leaves branches grass etc fall out.

Not impossible to assemble but has a lack of clear details on where the last pins go for attaching the catcher frame to the main sweeper. Also using cotter pins and not bolts for nearly every fastener is just asking for things to fall apart (and they did). In the first 5 hours of usage, I lost 3 cotter pins and the two main ones which hold the catcher to the sweeper. As a result I will buy bolts and weld the rest of this unit so that it no longer causes me havoc. I have many other Vevor products and am very happy with those but this one maybe could use some refinement. The price is so low however that I couldn't even find a used one this price, so I just ordered this one.In 5 hours this helped clear at least 0.7 acres of pine needles, I had to use a relatively fast speed with my lawn tractor and have the angle set properly, but other than that it worked good. A little cumbersome to empty and falls apart during the process.

This thing picks up everything (small branch, trimmings and leaves) and then some. Thought I'm not sure about the quality, for starters the bag started to rip at the seams during setup and the setup instructions aren't intuitive. For the price, it should have come with better instructions and double stitched seams.
