It came in a secure package.easy to assemble.took less than 10 mins to put together.strong heavy duty steel.and will definitely do the job.i did have to remove the wire from the spool.and re-run it however.but thats no biggie.other than that.its a great product.and recommend it.im not real big on buying things sight unseen. Especially when it comes to my hunting gear.bit this is a great little setup.

This product is much sturdier than what I expected it would be. I had no problem using the winch to hoist up a 4 yro doe. The only problem was that the unit is too short to get the deer all the way off the ground. I’m having to build an extension to add to it to get enough height. Otherwise it worked great.

Well, prepare to improvise. The instructions are really weak. You'll spend a lot of time trying figure out what was in the mind of the chinaman that drew them up. Also, the factory failed to drill two holes all the way through the box channel at the top. Looks like they were using a punch, as they were clearly marked, however I had to drill them through myself. They're metric size by the way. The part that slides into your hitch is not drilled for a standard hitch pin. It's smaller, so a bolt gives it too much play inside your hitch, which makes the lift lean smartly to one side when you lift something. I will most likely drill this out to fit a standard hitch pin. That swiveling foot on the bottom brace is another head scratcher. I believe I'll change it to something adjustable like a threaded foot peg or something so you can take pressure off the hitch after the bed settles from the weight of whatever you load on it.All said and done, it does work. I loaded our generator up and down with it without incident. I'll likely remove that rack at the top, as it is mostly unnecessary for loading anything but deer. For what I paid with their sale, it's still the best thing going. I think it got reduced because so many people are incapable of drilling holes, adapting, and interpreting chinaman factory worker thought processes

The hitch is long enough that you can have your tailgate on your truck down. Where I hunt I can usually drive up on the kill.This product made loading the deer super easy with the tailgate down. You can pull the pins and pivot it into the box of your truck. I have a bad back so the crank winch was super convenient! I honestly wish I had bought it years ago! Especially if you hunt alone, I’d say it’s a must have.
