Have had this winch for 1 year, install was easy, both remotes have worked flawlessly even after getting a little wet. Have used the winch dozens of times on the trail, in mud, helping other and it has been great. Great budget friendly winch.

we haven't had a chance to try it yet but i believe it will be fine. we had a wench and it didn't work anymore, but we will use this for anything that comes about. thanks

Buy a better brand. I bought this months ago and just haven't had the time to set it up, so I missed the return window. Opened it and all the stickers were falling off. Not critical but was an indication of a cheap build or poor qc at the plant. Then after assembling the mount and welding a bracket to my trailer, I went to attach the new winch to the removable mount and found none of the wholes were threaded. I've owned many winches and this one it's the only one that has been a disappointment.

The winch had a damaged controller. How would I get a replacement? The box looked like it had been dropped. I know it was extremely heavy.
