As an automotive enthusiast, I prioritize efficient and reliable battery connectivity, and the Vgate Lead Acid Battery Terminal Clamps have exceeded my expectations. These clamps offer a hassle-free and secure solution for connecting your battery to various SAE, DIN, and EN tapered top post terminals. One of the standout features of these clamps is their wide compatibility range. With the ability to accommodate wire gauges from 8AWG up to 4/0 (XL) AWG, you can trust that they will fit perfectly with most battery cables. This flexibility allows for easy installation without any modifications or additional tools needed. The 12-way connectors (6 positive and 6 negative) included in this package provide ample connections for accessories such as amplifiers, stereo systems, or additional batteries. This versatility is a significant advantage, making it a breeze to connect multiple devices to your battery with minimal clutter.Durability is another key aspect of these clamps. Constructed with high-quality materials, they offer excellent resistance against corrosion, ensuring long-term performance and reliability. Additionally, the clamps provide a tight and secure grip on the battery terminals, minimizing the risk of intermittent connections or accidental disconnections.I also appreciate the thoughtful design elements incorporated into these clamps. The ergonomic shape and well-placed ridges make it easy to grip and handle, even in tight spaces. The clear markings for positive (+) and negative (-) terminals eliminate any confusion during installation, saving time and effort.Overall, the Vgate Lead Acid Battery Terminal Clamps are an excellent investment for anyone seeking reliable and versatile battery connectivity. Their compatibility, durability, and thoughtful design make them a top choice in the market. Whether you're an auto enthusiast or a professional mechanic, these clamps will undoubtedly enhance your battery connections and improve reliability.

I ordered these for my SUV (Nissan Xterra). The original terminals were old and a corroded mess, and I knew they would need replacing. However, I was looking ahead at things I wanted to do in the future, such as adding high output light rails, car stereo amps, and other modifications. These seemed like the perfect option. Alone, they are high quality, solid terminals that seem like they will last forever. Alternatively, they have the ability to easily accept any additional electrical equipment I want to add, all while looking great doing it.When they arrived, I was impressed at how well they are made. They are cut as solid pieces of metal; there are no seams or weak areas to crack. The surface is smooth and the markings are clear and bright. The holes are clearly cut and the hardware is polished and heavy. The screws lock down and bite nicely; there is no fear of them loosening or coming apart. When I installed them, I was very impressed with how solidly they attached to the clamps. I've seen some install photos where these terminals are placed with the bottoms along the battery top; this is okay, but not needed. They clamp down onto the battery posts and will not come off when tightened down properly (see my photos). If you are a car stereo enthusiast, then these terminals should be right at the top of your list. They take up to zero Guage wire and can handle anything you throw at them, while looking totally badass when you pop your hood to show everyone your upgraded wiring job. These will also easily accomodate the "big 3" or "big 4" upgrade. If you are into off-roading, RV-ing, or overlanding, then this would also be a worthwhile upgrade. This can accept tons of additional power and ground wires, so you can add lights, pumps, articulating arms, power inverters...anything can be wired in tightly with the multitude of attachment points. It can also be used to organize cluttered wiring. The only issue that could be raised is the fact that it uses hex nuts to attach to the battery posts (also for some of the wire attachments). Normally, you can remove a battery terminal with a small 10mm socket or a pair of pliers. That will not work on these terminals. You need to have the proper hex key to loosen it. It would only present an issue in emergencies, such as a dead battery on a trip or something. I just threw an extra correct size key in the glove box if it's ever needed.Overall, I am very impressed. I will provide an update after a few months. I want to see how well the attachments hold, and to see how if corrosion is an issue.

I don’t usually do reviews, but this Fixed my electrical issue. My old terminals were not able to fit all the wire needed, but these did the job plus I can add more wire if needed. It does fit oversized 1/0 Good quality, definitely a good buy. Thanks.

The only issue I had was the proximity to my firewall while tightening the clamp. It uses an Allen head bolt and was difficult to tighten on my Jeep Wrangler. Always remember to attach the ground LAST to reduce the risk of accidental grounding. Also, including a couple of Allen head wrenches would’ve been helpful…

This set works great for making your battery area more tidy, and gives a great improvement over the factory Jeep JK battery clamps.I would have preferred to have standard bolts on them to tighten them down, as I had to cut down an Allen wrench to clear my battery caps to tighten these down. It's a little tricky to get the nuts tight with the Allen head studs in them, but it all came out well, and I'm confident my stereo will no longer forget it's presets, and I won't get the occasional dead electrical system when I go out to start it. I have before and after photos, and the tool I had to cut down.Note that in a Jeep JK, this is not a direct bolt-on replacement. I had to cut apart a couple of the factory cable ends and cut them in half, and redrill one slightly bigger.

I liked how it looked and it's big. Easy to use. Make sure you tighten it enough. One clamp would not stay clamped on to the post. One good tap after tightening it would wobble free. Check it twice.

Don't know why people are complaining about battery fit, works perfectly for me.I have been modifying cars for over 3 decades, mostly large car audio systems. This is the nicest set of terminals I have ever used. They fit the battery posts well and have solid connection points for your accessories with the top nut/bolt fasteners. I would not suggest using the through hole connection points if you want solid and reliable connections. These types of connections are traditionally poor and unreliable, even with a properly gauged cable.Highly recommended.

Im a little OCD with cluter and the amount of crazyness coming of my terminals drives me nuts. These seem perfect and was surprised at how beautiful they look hahaha they even come in what seems like a jewlers cardboard case haha.
